I had to watch this several times including taking screen shots. It's kind of easy but I kept getting confused with how I was doing it. I realized you start at the bottom part and work your way up. Please follow EVERY guideline she shares because it makes so much sense and helps with being successful at making a unit. Personally Elon's Blu method is the very best method at making the most natural wig. I would have purchased her method. Thank you so much, Elon.
Revisiting since I'm losing my hair and need to go back into making natural looking wigs. Yours is the most natural looking and so I'm here again. Thank you once again. Happy Holidays!!
I am so glad- I found this video. You crochet like myself (using a ventilating method) I never understand the way I would see most videos ( using tie and knot method) I always felt that slowed down the wig making process. Thanks!
Heyyy love the videos!!! I wanted to ask if you are able to show us where you crotchet the hair without putting the hair through but by by marking it?? So we can get a better visual , like how it would look all over the wig head when we crotchet. I really appreciate if you can.
Your video quality is amazing for such a small channel. When you blow up you won’t even have to be mildly embarrassed by the old stuff like most channels. If you don’t mind my asking are you in media in the ‘real world’
How can tis possibly get a thum down :-( You're amazing and so gifted. Creative mind to the finest! What brand/type of hair is this? I would love to see the final product and baby hair method. Thanks for sharing your talent :-) .
Hey Sadama, Thank you so much for your support... that's half the battle when it comes to making these videos. I use a few different brands of hair, so I'll look at all of them and get back to you.
How many packs of hair do you use. I'm making my own, waiting when a wig I'm looking at from your online store comes in stock. I need it for a wedding end of week!!!
whether I use a close cap or open, its usually too much fabric. So I machine stitch the cap close, about 4 inches down and cut the excess off. You can hand stitch it as well
Really enjoyed your video. I tried it but the hair tangled so bad I could not pull it thru the hook. It was a complete disaster. How do you keep the kinky hair from tangling when you pull it thru to separate it from the hair still on your finger loop? Thank you.
no, it's never caused problems for me. It could cause problems if the hair you use is too soft or silky. Luckily for me, all the hair I use is pretty coarse/kinky so it holds in place just fine
Really like this video and technique. With doing your wig with this method, you must use a relatively small amount of hair. With that texture I could see using only one pack of spring twist hair. What is an average amount for you?
I really love your method and had planned to make my own crochet wig but it looks like I bought the wrong mesh cap - the holes are too small! If you don't mind me asking, what brand of cap do you use, and do you have a link from which I can order one?
Hi thanks for sharing your technique. Can you do a video on using the kinky hair where you can flat iron it and wear more of a straight style and also ventilate the size and front with the lace so it looks natural just looking for some ideas for making a straight wig.
Hey Barbra, I don't straighten my curly wigs, but I can do a video on how to use straight hair when making a crochet wig. Thank you for the suggestion. Also, because I don't use lace when I make my wigs, I don't ventilate. But I will do a video on how I finish my crochet wigs with baby hair.
@@ElonBlu I don't want to repeat myself but Are you still going to do a video on straight hair, I'm a little bit older and I don't think the curling ones would look quite as nice on me your wigs are so beautiful by the way.
I count up 8 row and 8 dimonds across, skipping evey other row and every other dimond for each twist. I hope that makes sense. I'll do a video just on that.
hey! thank you so much for sharing your method! do you do anything different when you're making the part of your wig? or is it like a free part and everywhere you part looks natural? oh and I saw your baby hair video--do you put the baby hairs all around the perimeter?
You're so welcome. I decide where I want my part to be and make those pieces just a little bit larger to cover the net as best as possible. And yes the baby hair is around the entire perimeter.
I wanted to know why the pieces you take are small? The other videos I watch they take HUGE chunks and crochet across 5 holes rather than across one hold like you do - I like the way yours looks though! Very neat Also, was this video made using Janet Collection hair or had you changed by then?
I love your work! Really look like your hair. Have you ever had any issues with the hair slipping out? I ask because I want to try this with kinky curly indian hair. 💖

Super cute!!!!!!!!
I must say your technique works well did made one and got alot of compliments on it but not long after i spoiled it but intend to redo it

Barbra I used Caribbean Braid Janet Collection for that one
hey is there a way to hide the band with red hair? like in your mexico blog?
yes you can put hair on the band
I didn't get the section part
Can you do one with looser curls pattern?
I'm trying to find a tutorial for one with loose waves too, did you find one?
@@barbra429Nope. I hope she comes back.

I use between 2 and 2.5 packs of hair. Enjoy the wedding!!
You are amazing sis . Please How do you close out the top of the mesh cap ? It comes open
How do you conceal it and close it when you crochet ?
whether I use a close cap or open, its usually too much fabric. So I machine stitch the cap close, about 4 inches down and cut the excess off. You can hand stitch it as well

Hello, I’d like to see how you glue your edges, you mentioned in another video ☺️
ua-cam.com/video/9uN8k21EmBA/v-deo.html this video should help with that
What kind of hair do you use?
You said that you like to leave the crochet lose when looping does that cause any problems? as I always see other pull to tighten the loop of hair?
no, it's never caused problems for me. It could cause problems if the hair you use is too soft or silky. Luckily for me, all the hair I use is pretty coarse/kinky so it holds in place just fine
Also do you have a video or a picture of what the finished product looks like I'm kind of a new but old subscriber lol

Hi do you use any product when you twist the hair?
No I don't. Because it's synthetic it doesn't really absorb proucts well.

Hello! I am still trying to understand what length of hair are you crocheting in each diamond?
Sorry for the late response it’s 16in
Is this the only cap you recommend for this style?
its the only one ive used

Mik KO I like to make it neat and structured. I use to make it with larger pieces but I struggled with the wig being too big.
Hi, Can I use a kinky hair to get this result?
Yes you can 👍🏾
I love your work! Really look like your hair. Have you ever had any issues with the hair slipping out? I ask because I want to try this with kinky curly indian hair. 💖
Thank you so much! No slippage with synthetic hair but human hair was given me problems. I think its just too soft.
What kinda hair did you use
In this video, I used Janet Collection Caribbean Braid 80 inches in 1b. Here is a link
amzn.to/2ZjZsuz
Did you cut the hair in half?
yes I did
I wish they didn't make those net caps so tight I can already tell that it's going to make my head hurt
The ones I ordered fit like a stocking cap. Which one do you have? Also, it loosens over time I've noticed
And its so comfortable to wear
