Once it fully cut through the embankment, the amount of discharge into the forest below was phenomenal. That was like watching an earthen dam fail. Amazing video, thanks for sharing!
Wow!! The awe-inspiring power of water is fascinating to me!! I kept having to go back to see every bit of the incredible footage you have captured here. Excellent and actually quite brave work, kudos!! I have to save this one!! Thanks for sharing it.
@@1.8.100s because nothing else is the same as it. It’s the most impressive canyon due to its color, depth, length, and width. It’s certainly not the deepest, longest, or widest
I agree. Use "landscape" view (just turn your phone 90 degrees). "Portrait" view is for things that are taller rather than spread out (like people or buildings).
@@markmcfrederick8932 Absolutely!! 'Portrait' is for exactly that - Portraits... Where as landscape should be used for **all** video work, given that your eyes are side-by-side, not one above the other. (There's a reason why widescreen televisions are wider than they are tall... ;-) )
This looks like a levee break to me, with a big pond emptying to the lower side. I have to wonder what is downstream to this. It would have been nice to get an exact location for this, what state, so could get a good look on google earth. No quick fix for this disaster.
A new road further upwards may be needed. Aslo this is a fantastic footage, look at the cracks on the road going down little by little, that downwards tree line going down too, when nature recalls a place as hers and when the old voice tells you calmy to back the hell off.. Many thanks!
I always record in Landscape mode which is just turning the camera sideways. Overall though I think we got the gist of the situation, a very powerful image of the force of mother nature.
Incredible footage there. That was immense. It was like watching a tsunami just never ending, destroying everything in it's path. I worried for the folk further down the way, in the path of the water and if it caused any fatalities?
Looks like an old railroad road bed(lumber?), I think the normal drainage has blocked and built a lake. The trees appear to have foliage below the start level of the water so it must have been quick to fill the lake. If it was not for the forces of water all the mountains in the world would be a lot taller. Next time if the lake refill's dynamite an exit.
Breathtaking event, great filming. Don't listen to the “vertical filming“ crybabies, they weren't there, they didn't had to hold a camera for half an hour, they didn't risk their lives. Thanks for sharing!
@nigel cuthbertson I don't understand that comment. I am totally pro-vertical-filming if it matches the content. For me this vertical video is totally fine.
I really are looking forward to when cellphones comes with wider camera lenses. Then we will not need to pan left and right so much.. Nature shows power!
Jeez, thats mental! ..so can anyone over there tell me whit the conclusion was to this carnage? was some kinda dam built, was the road rebuilt, and is that flooded area now a lake!? and hopefully there wiz nobody living on that stretch o land!?
Im trying to find it too, it would have be a dirt road so that narrows it down some. One person said they travel this to go to meadow lake, and the canada 903 has a meadow lake at the south end of it, so that is my guess as to where it is. the streetview does not go all the way up it though. Satellite imagery shows the northern part of the highway is dirt. After looking for a bit, i think it was right here goo.gl/maps/G2icUb5zgQ7pG9YCA and the camera was facing south
the action was not where the water was going . it's where the trees were coming down and the road. man that had to be one huge lake with all that water.
Yet ANOTHER rookie that can't turn their damn phone SIDEWAYS so we can ACTUALLY SEE what's happening...human eyes are SIDE TO SIDE ( not up and down ) and they only sell WIDESCREEN TV's now...NOT NARROW VISION !! We got MORE BLACK BARS than we got ACTUAL VIDEO...FIGURE IT OUT VERTICAL FILMERS !!!
It kinda looks like to me the road construction crew or workers got there work cut out for them on fixing this road holy crap it just keeps on getting worse and worse well peace my friends thanks for sharing another great video its ny first time seeing this video 😁👍
What caused this flood? I'm assuming rain but how much for how long from where? My prayers go out to all those downstream. When mother nature gets her feathers in a fluff you should back off and say 'Yes, Ma'am."

This was so amazing to watch. Thank you for posting. I'm thoroughly touched by the power of that water. I'll definitely share this video
Imagine if this guy TURNED THE DAMN PHONE SIDEWAYS!
Then imagine him not panning the camera back and forth every 5 seconds!
YEP
Me too. Been drinking me nuts
I could have watched that for hours. AWESOME. That little tree near beginning held it's ground as long as it could. 9:45

Watching stuff like this makes it easier to comprehend how the Grand Canyon was carved out!

How come there’s only one Mississippi River?
Thanks so much for sharing. This was wild. Nobody but y'all would have seen this really big water movement if u hadn't of shared thanks again
I travel on this road about 1 or 2 times a week to meadow lake. Thanks for the video. Sure change the scenery.
How about an upload? I would like to see it now. See the aftermath
Ahh, so this IS in Saskatchewan! I was trying to figure out where this highway is/was!
Stop vertical filming.

At least its formated properly.
Use me as a downvote.
I triple dg dare you CRACKED ME UP!!!!
Pretty scary stuff, I can't imagine what would happen driving there at night and falling into this
24:36 I triple dog dare you to run up and move that road cone back! 😉😂
I was totally thinking, save the cone

Just checked location as northern Saskatchewan, Canada: northernprideml.com/2019/08/highway-903-washed-out/
Highway 903 in canada, there is an article if you search highway 903 flood with pictures presumably from this uploader in the article

Post 10 couldve prevented this
Wow that's something the strength of water is so amazing good video
Thanks for the long footage, I hate 30 second clips. Would be better in landscape instead of vertical for future reference.
Qué rápido cambio el paisaje
Thanks for sharing
that is amazing
Part 2 !

I want to see it from the first, in every part of the way. Mesmerizing!!

Ничем не остановить стихию воды.....жутко и завораживает одновременно....🙏🖐️
Damn..... That last tree going down just cost me ten bucks.... Thought that little sucker was gonna make it....,☮️🚾
If he had shot this in landscape, he wouldn't have had to pan back and forth every 2 seconds.
Making me sea sick just watching it!
YEP !
That's amazing but soooo sad 😢
Too bad you didn’t turn the phone to landscape. Missed a lot.
Fantastic video, would’ve loved to witness that, I wish you had a drone to get right in there, awesome 👏
Oh my God back up
Vertical filming is the hallmark of ...
See that! That’s going to happen on your side. Get back!
I could watch that all day

At least the water tells you how big the culvert or methods of flow you need to rebuild this road into next time.
I really are looking forward to when cellphones comes with wider camera lenses. Then we will not need to pan left and right so much.. Nature shows power!
or if they had shot in landscape mode instead of portrait we would have got the full widescreen
It’s a all right video would Been Nicer if you would have turned your cell When recording and Got a wider angle on the video
I really wish you wouldn't span back and forth!

Magnificent
OMG!!
Mini Niagara falls
Where was all of the water coming from? A backed up river? A lake? That's more than just a wash out.
😢😮😮😮😮
It’s surrounding You!
9:48 that one bush is hanging on for dear life. It doesn't want to go into the abyss.
Any follow up on this????
Where is this located i pretty sure they probably put a long bridge there now
Water is dangerous, so kids don't do water, drink whiskey insted
I was enjoying this till you started waving your camera around to the left from about 13:00 onwards, I was feeling sea sick after that.
If only there was a way for him to capture a wider angle....
WOW!!!
There's many highway 903's in the USA, where was this taken? Out of the USA, Canada has a hwy 903? Not sure anywhere else...

where did this water come from here?
what happened upstream? did some kind of dam break there too?

I assume this is an earthen dam that got overtopped?
Grab that cone
And, that i s how waterfalls are made 😄😉
This is the craziest thing I have ever seen
Did this used to be a small, big river? Or a lake? Because what the heck, why is the weather so clear yet it looks like a tsunami came theough.
That ground there standing on is just saturated with water, i think that whole roadway is going to be swallowed up. Just my opinion.
It kinda looks like to me the road construction crew or workers got there work cut out for them on fixing this road holy crap it just keeps on getting worse and worse well peace my friends thanks for sharing another great video its ny first time seeing this video 😁👍
I worked for the construction crew rebuilding this road, and let me tell you do I have some crazy videos lol
@@daltinlindsay3547 can we see the videos? And where was this?
Bridge!!!
O homem não pode intervir na natureza, pois a mesma cumpre o que o Criador manda.
Hold still for a minute!
what are those roads made of?
Dirt road
What caused this flood? I'm assuming rain but how much for how long from where? My prayers go out to all those downstream. When mother nature gets her feathers in a fluff you should back off and say 'Yes, Ma'am."
Oh my Goodness, massive big break
Entire forest gone. What is down stream. River?
just wondering where is the water going
Will you stop panning to the left
What does this road look like today
I’m waiting to see if a car or two shows up down river and some human bones from hundreds of yrs ago. No telling what was dredged up from the deep
One of a kind moment rare
Stop vertically filming that's horrible. Is that how a TV looks? No. Also, my jeep could've made it through that puddle easily..
Can I jump on it, says the future Darwin Award winner. Then eventually he goes and stamped his foot on possibility loose ground. Wow, what instincts!
Better step run back!!!
And they say the Grand Canyon took millions of years to carve through dirt.
It wasn’t carving so dirt/sand! the Grand Canyon was dug through granite and multiple other layers of solid rock!! A damn bit harder than sand!
I pray to God for the people trapped by that holy hell headed their way ! How all is safe.
When this flood happen, this road need suitable bridge
Like they say in the White House every 4 yrs, time to drain the swamp.
My gene that was an ocean not a lake
What location is this?
Imagine the wildlife that got killed. This is horrible. I do realize that its nature...still sad.
Yeah...road's closed for sure.
where was this
Mother nature : I won't do it right now but let me just show u how easy it is to K.O y'all ass
Yes Ta'liyah, we take and take from Mother Nature, and she has to show us who still is in charge.....
First Nations land
Did anyone bother to call 911 and get the road closed or did you just stand there watching?
River Old river.
chief, stop panning. I wanna see the road not the water thank you. T^T
I’m personally glad they showed the whole area, especially the water taking down trees further down! The water is the masterpiece here, not the road!

I gotta pee
Seriously doubt this dirt road is classified as a highway

Water
Water
Whoever liked my comment thank you I’ve been trying to find this video ever since I watched it

Where is this? Amazing footage! Not necessarily a road washing out, more so a dam or a levi collapsing!
