To be honest these are very very poor salaries.... the worst thing is that how most IMG doctors in UK say it with a flat face that they are satisfied with these numbers
I guess that for IMG doctors the quality of life in UK is still better than in underdeveloped countries. So even though the salaries are very poor when compared to other professions, It’a still better than staying at our home countries… I’m a final year medical student in Brazil and doctors here face similar amount of workload, but in far worse job conditions, receiving a similar amount of money and living in contact with violence on a daily basis
I'm from Cuba and currently in my Journey to get my license and work in the UK as a doctor. Coming from a country where doctor' salary is around 40 USD/month, this amount is like a dream for me, even more knowing that while working there, I will have the resources and better job conditions, to do properly my work as a doctor on a daily basis. However I understand that the life in the UK is more expensive and I understand the reason for the strikes
Really appreciate your honesty and transparency. It makes me appreciate why exactly you’re striking- especially as I know firsthand how much those working as NHS Project Managers earn.

Hey man been watching the videos since med school application, I’m 4th year now at Barts nearly finishing it’s crazy, would be amazing to meet some time. You had replied to me your email during lockdown but it was long time ago.
All the struggle to study and be rewarded this little for being a CRUCIAL part of the system without which most of us would be doomed. Plenty people don't go crazy like this to get a job, nor they work like crazy but are much more rewarded. Why? Because their job brings more financial profit to the company they work for. Sad...
Hi Dr Kenji My son After receiving the names of several universities, they give 7 universities for Deanery, how should he choose from these universities
Hii I need your help regarding the biomecal science! My situation is similar to ur situation I’m doing biomedical science the first year and I’m planning to do medicine afterwards but I’m so confused if you give me some information and help me I would be so happy 😀
Im considering becoming a gp. Please could u answer this for me. At the moment, im doing a third year of mental health nursing, and afterwards, I'll go into medicine. Do GPs do night shift? Or they only do day shift. Also, if they do, whats their responsibilities during the night shift. The reason im asking, is because sometimes I'd like to do a day shift and hopefully do a night shift later on in the evening. I know it's not good.... Btw, i love the video😊
i love watching your vedios as they´re a true reflection of a doctor working in NHS , iam a medical student in iraq sometime i consider moving to uk after graduation, and iam sure the condition is much better in UK than in Iraq 😂, but i want to take your advice ,UK or Austallia ? which one has a better training and working environment for international medical graduates!?

Doctors at every grade are paid far less than their labour is worth.
Wish you & the BMA the best of luck in the campaign for full pay restoration.
Absolutely agree! Thank you!
