    Great format. The real-time thought process, randomizer, and post-edit GTO solve makes this video so useful.

    no, the answer is no ! If you find yourself playing exactly like a bot start being concerned of actually being a bot and not a human ! Great video as always ! subbed !

    I randomize in opposite way.
    High roll is aggressive action/bigger size.
    Makes more sense to me personally

      The way I see it is like this: gyazo.com/20f7f785766951d6a758d2337d7e84ba solver grids have always positioned more aggressive actions from the left to right, so to me its more intuitive to allocate aggressive actions on lower rows since I'm visualizing a 0 to 100 left-to-right line.
      That being said, it doesnt matter lol just do whatever makes more sense to you

    You're my new favorite poker content creator thanks so much for these vids! I thought it was super funny that solver wanted to shove 0,7% of the time with T8s at 6:04 would have been so awesome to see you do that for like 4x pot. He has to fold a flush lol

    Awesome video Saulo. I play on ignition as well, so pausing the video at decision points and then seeing how I differ from your decisions has been very helpful.
    Also brother, maybe update your RNG setting on Jurojin 😅 I have it set to spin a new RNG on each new decision point, and 10k seconds refresh. You can always click the RNG overlay itself if you want a new number for whatever reason. You maybe already know this, but it's just a quality of life suggestion!
    Thanks again for the great content❤

      I'm not familiar with what are average scores for postflop play in GTO Wizard or how its calculated. Regardless, it should in fact be quite hard to nail the frequencies of more than 80% of your postflop decisions

    6:28 was interesting that 1/3 pot is wrong. I imagine it's because you always want to put your opponents range in tough spot with your sizings so imagine he has something like QJ here. Against 1/3 pot bet it's a comfortable call but against 3/4 bet it becomes annoying to fold such nice equity. I think this is such a common spot you should learn from your mistake and c-bet larger on these paired low boards in the future.

      Interesting. Now the obvious question is: could you do better than gto because of experience, mass data analysis etc?

    • @Michael-jc6fy
      @Michael-jc6fy Рік тому

      I think the answer is mostly a yes, using mass data analysis especially on river spots should improve your win rate. I am curious given a pure GTO style (which is almost impossible to replicate in real life) is a defensive style of poker, where the 5-6bb/100 win rate come from? Is it from your opponents mistakes?

    • @saulocostapoker
      @saulocostapoker  Рік тому

      The winrate comes from the money recreationals punt and the fact that a GTO bot would have an edge on any regular.
      As far as doing better than GTO, yes of course it's possible. If you can successfully and accurately exploit the recreationals and regulars, then yeah you can make 7-8bb/100. That's extremely hard though, only a few people in the world can do it

    Ok. I'm older, and I live in the only state online gambling is illegal. I really don't understand your RNG approach to all of this. I know what it means (random number generator). What I don't understand is if that's a part of the website an add on, or an overlay. I also don't understand how you are utilizing it and when you are using it. Is the number changing constantly? I really don't get when and why? Don't need you to over explain how RNG works for poker. I just want to understand what I'm looking at and how you're processing it.
    Ok... never mind. You said something about it a little in the middle of the video. However, is there more than just bet sizing?

    Just gotta know your opponent … trying to playing game theoretically optimal against an opponent that does not play GTO is a good way to lose a lot of money

    • @saulocostapoker
      @saulocostapoker  Рік тому +2

      Hey Eugene! That's actually not true mate. A GTO strategy cannot lose by definition, regardless of how your opponent plays. It is true that an exploitative strategy could make more money than GTO vs real opponents, but GTO definitely does not lose a lot of money vs anyone, no matter the actual strategy.
