17:34. I'm guessing population greatly under-4bets this spot at lower stakes. That would make jamming a lot worse, maybe even a punt? I'm also guessing that this range would look very different in a unraked game (less all ins), because you save so much money getting it in preflop, compared to paying rake postflop in an already bloated pot.
I commented a while back criticising your coaching with Jess and just wanted to say every single video you've made since then has been top notch. Kudos to you for responding to the first message and giving your thoughts - was also nice to see the other viewers giving their thoughts as well. Keep up the good work and thanks for all the free content, it is helping massively!
@@liveslowlivesimple Was centered around the difference between how sharp his tone/language was towards Jess in the final episode of the series vs the rest of the series. Felt that he might have been getting that energy from an external place e.g. failing the challenge made his brand look worse. He gave good feedback to my point and some others disagreed with my interpretation of the video.
25:46 Actually, targeting some part of villian's range, making it indifferent, is pretty close to how solver works (Saulo Costa said that). Seeing that he has students who are winning at high stakes, maybe it's not the worst word to use.
Don’t scrap the skit Pete. All of your skits are an integral part of our learning process. If you scrap the skit… That’s right you guessed it, YOU DON’T DESERVE TO COACH THE GAMEEE! lol Just kidding man you deserve it either way, keep up the great work Pete
Love this video Pete! When you talk about students who are growing at low stakes, I get out my notebook and treat it like a CPS lesson. B33 on that first river as a bluff (because it merges our range so much) is a really cool play I want to add to my kit.
Question. If the 2 of hearts doesn’t matter in the last hand because it doesn’t block flysh combos, and I agree, why would having 44-77 with a heart matter in the 4bet pot blind vs blind? It hardly blocks flushes in that instance too doesn’t it?
Great video! I learned a lot but still need to work on that a lot myself. My red line looks similar to the students at the start even though I'm still winning. I'm really looking into fixing the red line currently. One note on the TT hand at 18:00 though: TT is actually a 60% call here and only 40% all-in if this student is playing on GG Rush&Cash. Actually every hand other than JJ and AKo is pure call here (yes, also QQ, KK, AA) except for those TT, QJs and A5/A4s outliners. This is due to rake structure. Many hands play very differently in this rake environment and also 3-Bet/4-Bet sizes are much lower here and I noticed on some other videos of you that you are using the "normal" NL50/NL100 etc. ranges for opening/3-Bet/4-Bet. GTOWizard has preflop solved for this rake structure btw.
Pete what do you imagine villains range looks like on the TT? If you can see they have AJ/AK and maybe some KQ is it still a profitable bluff. My fear is my opponents always seem to station. I guess jacks is a big part of the range too
Great content as always. Big question: why on the first hand BB calling range has no low Axo and 9xo in PIO sims?? Is it really how BB vs BU 2.5x looks like?
Not that I don't appreciate a lot of your content. But I see this graph a little different. I see a player who after 9000 hands was at $0 and what appears do be a miraculous almost back to back all in that had he not caught would have been -$50 followed by a hot run of 800 hands. I would be much more interested in seeing this after 40 or 50k hands. I do agree a lot of peoples red line is shit though. Speaking in generalities it is obviously better to be over aggressive than under in a game where a majority of people you play, play a tad passive or play psycho aggro.
I was wondering why there haven't been any streams on your twitch for 2 weeks Pete. I guess you have been swamped with the overwhelming demand for Grade E. I think it's the best poker course I've bought (and I've bought a lot of them over the years).
You are the 🐐 of poker coaches. I’ve scoured them ALL. Your approach and mindset are world class. This information shouldn’t be free; yet you keep giving abundantly 🫶 I would be doing myself a disservice if I didn’t get one on one coaching. Since I’ve found and binge watched your entire channel (almost literally) my redline went 180* and my understanding of the “why”/theory becomes more clear with each session. Keep doing what you’re doing man; you are truly a unicorn 🦄
Just goes to show carrot is full of it! Any comment i put on that questions his game theory or results he deletes. Dont be a fool and pay for this average theory.
"Is this title a little bit clickbaitey? Yes." Hey, honesty goes a long way with me. Nice video.😂

what was your criticism?
Jess didn't have the intellect for the game

Why do you think "targeting" is a bad term?

This is a good dose of "No Fear Poker". Nice job student! Keep it up!
No it's not, it's smart poker.
Do you have a video on a dreading blue line? My graph has a positive red line, but a creeping blue line

This first graph is exactly how mine looks so I'll be watching this video and rewatching, thank you !!

7:15 I definitely underbluff these rivers. I really appreciate this thought process and subsequent hand deep dive
Thanks my guy
Do you think this redline strategy works at 5/10NL - I find every time I have tried to introduce some of these protocols I am getting absolutely rekt

Is there a way to get access to the interactive pre-flop charts @17:20??
stakes?
4:33 You did kind of title the video that tho'.
A live session of him will be perfect please !

When does the next student series, “absolute shit to legit” come out?
Never tired of you dont deserve to play the game!

What do you charge on the hour? And do you think it would make sense to get coaching from you for NL 500? I’m winning 4.4bb adjusted over 200k hands
maybe explain what the lines mean lol?
This man cannot beat the current .25/.50 game, online. Do not be fooled.
He's a winning player at 200NL. Why wouldn't he be able to beat 50NL when the pool is much softer than 200NL?
TT pocket potatoes Tatertots?
Red line… all that really matters is the green one
YOU LIED!!!
We know why they're called Potatoes now! thanks to you...... but still.

Hi Pete vs Troll
you don't deserve to play the game!
anyone else find this guy hard to listen to? his advice is fine but his cadence and tone is just like monotonous drill I want to turn off
