A favorite movie of mine, I have the DVD. Diane Keaton was precious: "So, where do you want to eat? And the Countess at the opera and in her room at midnight, Wow!
Does anyone understand how they have a star wars reference (53 min point in film)? This was released in 1975 the same time that star wars was just beginning to be filmed. How the heck would Woody Allen know to do this? Or maybe it's just a accident or unrelated. Seems to be a reference to Chewbacca and Princess Lea.
Just watched it on a big flat screen TV which was great. I have seen it back in the 90s on a smaller TV
Many thanks- one of my favourite films!!
One of my all time favorites.. I don't think I would have a sense of humor if it wasn't for Woody Allen and Monty Python..

My favorite Woody film.
Love this series. Thank you.
Thanks for this. This is great!
use lines from this film with my family all the time 😆
The "shot through the eyeglasses" is also a reference from Battleship Potemkin. Allen loved that film and referenced it in Bananas, as well.
