I do have faith in Nikola, they are definitely on the right track now. But hearing the CEO describing the BEV as a "potato chip distribution vehicle" and "worrying about the maturity of the technology" kind of hurts. I hope it's more of an exaggeration for clarity as well as poor choice of words rather than a pure reflection of reality.

To go 100,000 miles in a FCEV (hydrogen) semi it will cost over $400,000 in fuel alone. To go the same distance in diesel truck it will cost $66,000. No one is going to pay $344,000 more to fuel their trucks every year. As a bonus to go the same distance in a BEV (electric) semi it will cost $14,000. How many people do you know that are willing to pay the difference of over the cost of a new semi every year in fuel alone to drive a hydrogen truck?
I tought the same, but if You have patience with Nikola maybe this will be a nice trip in the end . I remain with 200 sahres after RS and im -2.500$ loss but i decide to have patience with this company , one important thing in investment is patience
