Outstanding Matt, more spoons please
Yes, it's probably about time. I made some more spoons.👍
You are truly brilliant. Wasn't going to make a spoon ever. You convinced me otherwise. My wife has Viking ancestry and this would be a perfect surprise for her. Thanks.
Cheers John, yeah spoons are quite fun to make. I have made about 4 videos on spoons so far.
Matt I love the spoon and I am very impressed with your ability. Thank you for sharing! Scott
Cheers Scott. Thank you kindly!

Hi Matt, there is a popular saying " is it so simple to be happy but it is so difficult to be simple", here with the spoon you have demonstrated that. Simple and Beautiful. I loved it!!!

Cheers Mark. Yeah I Think my band saw is my favorite tool to block out work. Cool project making a 21st key lots of scope for creativity 👍.
@@MattCarves I will post it up on my pintrest when I'm done

You carve some nice spoons Matt, great job. I have been wanting to try one myself
Cheers Clay. Probably one thing I carve that has a practical use 😁. Happy carving 👍
Bro that's not a spoon it's a small bowl with a handle lmao, beautiful though your work is awesome as hell.
Cheers 🙂 🍻
Hey Matt, I searched the comments and couldn’t find of you had answered this before. The tool you used between 2:17-2:24, could you provide me a name of the tool?
Love your work brother. Thanks for the inspiration!
thats a dremel flap wheel sander (affilate link amzn.to/47HEupM ) there are cheaper options as well just have a search for them. Cheers Happy carving
Hi Matt, can you tell me where you get the sanding attachment, can't seem to find anything like it,,also is it suitable for dremmel 3000 or are you using dremel 4000?,thanks
That's a 20mm pad on that sander, I bought in New Zealand. However the only one I have found on Amazon is this 1inch one that would work on a dremel 3000 ua-cam.com/video/6kQ_XYCKZy8/v-deo.htmlsi=rvs8TGGXYso9A3OZ
Absolutely beautifully done Matt 🙂one question Sir,the tiny sander you used with the dremmel shaft , just wish to know if you can give a link. Hope I'm not bothering you Matt 🙏
Sorry I don't have a link as I bought it from a local supplier. I will have a look into it though.
@@MattCarves thank you Sir!
Great work as always. What type of oil do you use on your spoons?
I used some beeswax for that one heated it up. Lots of food safe oils out there. Some of the cooking/Salad oils can go rancid so wood advise against those. Check this article out (not mine) food52.com/blog/16189-the-best-oils-techniques-for-finishing-wooden-kitchen-tools
Who makes the sanding bit and the purple sand paper you use?
Hi could you give me a time these appear in the video. And will get an answer to you. Cheers
@@MattCarves around 225?
Yeah that's a mini sanding pad that fits into your dremel. I cannot find that one on Amazon, I bought it in NZ. Here is a similar one from Amazon it's an Affilate link. POLIWELL 191 PCS 1 Inch Sanding
Discs Hook and Loop 60 to 10000
Wet Dry Sandpaper with 1/8" Shank
