I managed to get him in 15 pulls on his banner after spending everything i had, and getting Ptolpsis, Shamare and Zima in 1 10 pull, 1 Ayerscarpe in a random 1 pull and finally, Phantom in a ticket 1 pull
I got Ptilopsis last banner which is featured currently and then I got Sora which is featured for next banner for this one lol I remember I got Aak too before his banner came out 😅
When I got Phantom, while I really liked him, I thought I would struggle to find a way to use him on maps, but pretty much the contrary. He is quite the reliable operator, especially with his skill 2 👌
A tip that I learned: when you need to deploy Phantom multiple times but you don't want to burn 20+ dp, deploy Phantom in the area of a medic to keep him alive and use the clone every 40 seconds, it's cost and deploy time is always the same and it starts when it's deployed
Although the Clone’s deploy time is slightly longer the the average fast redeploy operator, the fact that it always has cost the same low DP and also have Phantom’s skill is worth it.
I felt bad for not pulling Phantom when he came in December last year. I was considering not pulling because I wanna save for Skalter banner, but I pulled on his banner and I got him. I must say Phantom is an amazing character. Skade (his artist) has done an amazing job incorporating The Phantom of the Opera aspects and not to forget his ability of summoning a phantom clone which I think it was a cool design for his kit. The only thing I regret was not buying his skin when Maria Nearl was running :(

Coming back to this video 3 years later. It's oddly nice looking back at a fast redeploy actually balanced like other fast redeploys. No limited or super limited that outperform the entire archetype by a significant margin. Short redeployment timer, utility, decent but not great damage.

Yeah Fast Redeploy meta is a thing now, so he is definitely should get. Not as meta defining as Saria, Ash, SA, Surtr and not as very flashy as the latter, but he still gets the job done. Saves you 1 slot for another operator on the final boss battle (as of current post writing)

For new players looking at this vid: Phantom's module now makes up for his costs. It pretty much increases the DP you get back on every retreat, so you more or less get back what you lost by deploying him. Honestly one of the best OP modules we have so far

I'd say it's not necessary For damage and burst Yato is pretty much all you need. You might still want to use Phantom for other things such as crowd-control or temporary blocking/baiting
