So he's not _horrible_ for sinking but also not very good either, his main job in a sinking team is to serve as a HP battery to both Dieci Rodya with Erudition and your other party members with Puissance. Issue is, that slot could also be filled by a better party member, who may not be very strong either, but plays way better with sinking. Like the Wuthering Heights ids or Edgregor.
His s1 is sinking neutral, could become positive if the enemy has Echoes of the Manor. However his s2 inflicts up to 6 sinking while s3 is purely rng, so you gotta pray it chooses count at most
