Im about to graduate in a few months and have a hospital placement lined up that I've been pretty worried about because I feel like I know absolutely nothing about pharmacy lol. But this has given me confidence that everything should be okay, so thank you! Also, if you have any further advice with regards to foundation training in a hospital I would be so grateful. I've done my first months with Boots and though the 7.5hrs training time per week is really nice, I could relate so much to the things you mentioned!
Did you say you are both working in community now? And if so, what didn't/don't you like about working in hospital?

Hi Christian, thanks got your question, I went from hospital pre reg into locuming and Samira went from community pre reg to locuming as well. However, I now work in the pharma industry and locum part time and Samira will be transitioning to hospital pharmacy. For me I didn’t like the hospital culture that I was at and I ultimately wasn’t passionate about being a hospital pharmacist I was more interested in science and clinical data which is why I know work in the industry (medical affairs) and still locum for flexibility and to keep my pharmacy knowledge intact.
