SHIT STUPPID SAME THING HAPPEND TO ME RUDE4969, IM GOING CRAZY INSTALLING THIS SHIT TO FIND OUT I GOT THE DRIVER SIDE INSTED OF THE PASSENGER SIDE, I READ YOUR COMENT THATS HOW I REALIZE IT!
i did everything you said in here and after i installed the new regulator the window does'nt go up all the way. it comes about 2 inches short. would know the reason?
well i figured out the problem> the dumbass chick at the parts store gave me the wrong regulator. she gave me the drivers side instead of the passengers side, lol. nothing like wasting a couple of hours trying to figure out what i did wrong. but thanks anyway. your video was very helpful
@@rude4969 not sure the chick at the parts store is the one who's a dumbass. It's not 1975. The internet is available to look up part numbers. Hopefully, if some minimum wage counter clerk gives you anti freeze when you ask for motor oil, you don't pour that into your engine.
I apprecieate your thurough approach of explanation
Great video! My 98' drivers window came loose and fall says I better fix it now!👍👍
Nice vids, watched your pulley one’s too. Plus, this is my exact jeep, so everything is very familiar!
What if your window doesn’t roll down at all?

Try rolling the window all the way down and holding the switch for about 5 seconds and then roll up all the way and hold for 5 seconds to reset.
