Lulworth Cove

- Certainly one of the most iconic and well known landmarks on the Jurassic Coast, indeed world famous due to its unique geology. A UNESCO World Heritage Site. This circular shaped cove on the Dorset coastline has a beautiful white pebble beach and clear blue waters plus a smaller cove located just to the west which is Stair Hole.
There is easy access to Lulworth Cove beach, a large car park, plus a number of shops including the Heritage Centre so it's not surprising that it gets very busy during high season. Great for rock-pooling, water sports, walking and there are boat trips available in the summer. Durdle Door and Man O'War Cove are within walking distance also.

You sure visit some great places Andy it’s so scenic there at Lulworth Cove. Very relaxing too with the sounds of the birds and water.
Thank you for posting this wonderful collection of calm views of a place very dear to my heart! As a boy I grew to love this place, then back at the camp for a troop leaders' course, and always returning at various stages in my life. The Millers' hotel (used to be the Cromwell now West Lulworth House since Alistair Miller retired ) and living at 51 School Lane opposite the Castle Inn was wonderful. Watching the Royal Navy coming in to Weymouth on a Friday after a week of FOST training, the paddle steamer Waverley coming in the cove, the regular Hawker Hunter very low on Thursday mornings on its way to simulate attacks etc are all great memories, stirred up by this video! Thank you.
Thank you for watching Nigel and for sharing your wonderful memories of this beautiful part of the world. It must be fantastic to live there. So much to see. Have a great weekend ~ Andy
