Great area have a couple of buddies that live on that same side! When you were missing them and had that tantrum I laughed we do exactly the same thing! Great video!
Been fishing for sheep's for over 35 years. If it makes u feel any better u are gonna lose quit a few in the process of catching. U were hooking up with some of them BIG sneakys. Just part of the game. At least u got a few nice ones. Cool video
I remember fishing out on that shoreline and jettied rocks years ago when there was less than ten houses on the one street that existed. Have a a few good memories from back then. if your going back in that direction again, ya might wanna try around the old dock structures between Browns Creek and Clapboard Creek 🤫.
I like your video young man, very nice fish. I kept looking at your hook on your jig when you brought it up, very dull. Get you a flat stone hook sharpener, if you don't already own one. Those jugs work great right out of the bag but the hook really needs to be sharpened. The stones that have a v groove cut in them for about 3 inches, as you draw it to you on each stroke you're cutting two corners and you'll have a triangle tip that becomes very sharp and will hang your fingernails very easily, then you're ready 👍
You can follow these you tube fisherman but not support local tackle shops. Don't shop at corporate stores! Stay out of bass pro and academy, go to local tackle shops! They need you much more than these large b/s stores!
@joeyfitzpatrickfishing it was too tell everyone to shop local! Pretty obvious but that was all. I just like to see locals shop local and at not big corporate companies! It wasn't anything derogatory towards anyone! 🙄 it was kinda worded a little weird after re reading it!
@@mychaelmitchell4632 👍🏼 The 2 I frequent are St. Augustine Paddle Sports (SAPS) when fishing in St. Augustine and Browns Creek when fishing in Jacksonville. Good spots

Nice which pedal kayak are you using ? I just ordered one that looks very similar to yours, mine is the Moken 10 from FeelFree.
Mine is a Bigfish 103 by 3 waters kayaks
@@joeyfitzpatrickfishing Nice I am down in South Florida and need to hunt for these Sheepies lol
@ from what I’ve heard, the further south you go, the more difficult it is to
@@joeyfitzpatrickfishing I have seen them locally near intercoastal canals and bridge pilings just need the weather to cool down to fire them up.
@ hope you can get them!
I am thinking about the Big Fish 103, are you still liking it and has it held up? Thanks
I do really like it. It’s wide and very stable. A negative is that it is heavy
Doing some of this tomorrow in new smyrna
@@blakeshaw5272 nice! Good luck
Marker 26 I caught my first Sheepshead by accident around that buoy.
@@HotRodJax nice. I’m def gonna have to go back and try that area again. I found a lot of good spots for sure
