I picked up the Sony a7siii about a month ago and have been loving this camera. This is the best video camera that Sony has to offer. The quality of this video camera are so good and leave the Sony a7iv wanting more. 20mm 1.8? Love my a7siii
Very close guess Paul. It is the 24mm f1.4 GM lens. Got it about a month ago amd loving it! Unbelievable separation. Also, I am testing the Sigma 20mm f1.4 and their 24mm f1.4. Both great lenses but going to do a review on both.
@@BrianTheCameraGuy Ahhhhhh, It looked wider but yes......I love my 24mm 1.4 GM. I use it for a ton of stuff. Its my talking head in my studio, I love using it for following subject on a gimbal. The background separation is just so beautiful.
I really is an amazing lens. I also have the Sigma 24mm f1.4 right now that I am testing out. I am really liking that lens too. It is definitely a cheaper version but is it as good, not sure yet.
The lens is jumpy. What is it? Also, you can shoot 4k120 in 10 bit in s&q on the a7iv? Thought it was 1080 in 420 10 bit?
The lens is the Sony 24mm f1.4. That is one of the downsides for the Sony a7siii is that there is no focus breathing compensation. Also, you can shoot in 4k 120p in S&Q mode at 10 bit 4.2.2. The downside is the data is below 100 so the image can sometimes not be as good.
I own this camera and the low light performance is insane . How does it handle low light in 4k 60p ?
I really love the low light of the a7siii. The a7iv does a great job too but not like the a7siii. You can pretty much shoot this thing in the dark.
@@BrianTheCameraGuy is the low light performance similar to a certain extent?
Some what. The noise is smaller on the a7rv then the a7siii. It is harder to notice unless you get to really high iso. It is there but smaller due to all the pixels. Seeing that you shoot more photo than video, I would lean towards the a7rv and still be very happy with the video coming out.
