I work in a fine dining Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese and Indian infusion restaurant and I have to say that pho and Korean short ribs and boa buns are probably our number one sellers. Korean food is amazing, and there really has an art to it all on it's own. 😉👍
I’ve been visiting NYC for over 20 years. In fact, hubby and I are heading there this weekend for our 4th Broadway show this year. I have never, ever seen a rat on any street, in any building, or in any subway station in those 20+ years. Truth. My husband saw just one, in August, dead in a trap. I’m sure this restaurant has a plan to avoid ANY infestation of ANY vermin and/or insects. I’d love to try this restaurant; but, I’m sure they’re booked this weekend and I’m sure our cash flow won’t allow it!! 😉. I am heading over to their website right now to check out the menu!
The fact that they actually serve Squab (pigeon) but all the chat has is rat jokes is crazy… this is not the target audience for a restaurant like this.
Here come more ideal of spending the money on something you cant even afford in this city anymore because 3/4th of your rent goes to your fucking landlord.
I was doing calculations too. I'd double to triple that when you include drinks, desert and tip. It's at least $400/person. But even $10-15k a night, I still don't see how they would make a profit with at least 2 co-owners, an executive chef and a waitstaff of at least 7 (1 servers/ 2 people max) and all of the back of house staff!
@@TodBoy24when the space is huge and pre owned, the landlord can charge anything for the rent; and with a fine dining restaurant down there, they are making bank. The space is almost 70% unused they putting more stores in there
Oh boy!!!! I don't know how I feel about that. All I think about is rats or roaches. And plus the food is decorated? All pretty and stuff....gosh an investment. I could only see myself having a cocktail there.
I was right…my pocketbook will be screaming if hubby and I dined here. $225 person (12 and older…menu and price same for children-no one under 12 allowed); plus tax, tip and beverage(s). Easily minimum of $600 for 2. The menu for this week looks delish; although hubby wouldn’t dine here; it’s fish-heavy.

The homeless are gonna love sleeping right outside the door.

They will be robbed by the end of the month.
I mean I can't disagree
nobody is gonna wanna touch that door when they start to see and smell all the piss stains
Not really a good idea for NYC, good idea for Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taipei!
As some others have said, I think are Rats are a real issue though I don't think opening a restaurant inside a subway is a good idea.
Good point
Not to mention all this tension in nyc smh won't catch me dead in that restaurant .
Yes it’s very gross!
Exactly what I was thinking to many rats in the subways!

The outside of the entrance would be a turn off for me. Looks gross
Man: Hey Honey, where is the most dangerous part of NYC?
Wife: More than likely, the subway.
Man: Great! That's where I want to open a restaurant.
Lmfaooo😂😂😂😂
North or South Korean?
The Subway isn’t dangerous though

That particular entrance to the station usually has a homeless guy.....I hope the guests are offered some fancy hand sanitizer
🤢🤮 this is just about the equivalent to eating in a dumpster well at least the dumpster occasionally gets washed, no thanks.
NYC rats are all over every train station especially on 34th street bad idea
13 course meal for $200. Sign me up. Although the dishes look nothing like Korean food.
What part of Korea are you from?
@@Andy-bh8hwMore than likely the South not many North Koreans actually leave the country
What happens when it's a thousand rats running around?? subway rats are the toughest 😅
When u find out the code makes sure to share it with everyone
Amazing!
There’s more rats underground than above. I’ll pass. This is just as gross as a KFC at the 8th ave station.
Rats 🐀 sauce 😂
only a matter of time when that restaurant gets robbed or gets taken over by rats LOL
they really thought this was a good idea
or a homeless guy starts to loiter near the door and no one gonna go in
The rent is cheap tho.

In that station, where they have drug addicts and homeless hanging out and people peeing in that station. Yeah, okay
There are great restaurants in subway stations all over the world. It's time for this city to catch up with the rest of civilization
Yes. But those subway stations are also great. Not the case here.
Depends on which subway station, lol.
Absolutely gross 🤢

Brilliant Idea !!
Not with all them rats down there 🤮🤮🤮
So their revenue per day is $5200 🤔
they need more than that to pay the staff..unless they making 100k a week i cant see this as profitable
