Urinary Bladder catheterisation (female)

My tutor taught us to clean the area (especially a vagina) with chlorhexidine, what are your thoughts on that??

Hey Abbey. Tell your tutor I'm a fan! Yes I also clean the area and mentioned that to my medical students prior to doing this demo. We also went over consent, chaperones and contraindications. Thanks for brining this up. Good luck with developing your surgical conscience Abbey 👆

I've watched a delirious male patient (from across the room) stretch his old fella 3 times it's size by pulling out his inflated Catheter... 🤢

Oh dear..... I guess that's a self inflicted radical prostatectomy....... Makes my eyes water
