- How to make dizi flutes from PVC pipes
This video shows you how to make Dizi Tau Flute with a simple PVC pipe at home.
Material:
- PVC pipe 21mm
- Crunchy thin plastic bag
- Some other tools like in the video
Specifications:
- hole distance: stated in the video
- Non-cage in 18mm
- 7mm press hole; blowing holes 8x10mm; 4mm flute tail wire hole

This is amazing easy to follow even without understanding your language. I have a question, how do you calculate where to put the tone holes. I’d like to make a lower pitched one and I’m sure the holes would all be in different places.

The echo distort the real sound of the flute if you liste to it when you are making it and after the sound is notthe same.

@@elianrivero9499 yo use el plástico que te dan en los supermercados cuando compras el fiambre o embutidos que es un plástico más opaco es menos flexible que el de las bolsas. Si no un pedacito de cinta transparente también funciona

Yes but you will have to change the spacing of the holes. And remember that the shorter the flute, the higher key it’s gonna have. The longer the flute, they lower key it’s gonna have
