De enige nog luchtwaardige Avro Vulcan ter wereld (de XH558), tijdens de Luchtmachtdagen 2009 op vliegbasis Volkel, vrijdag 19 juni 2009. Vrijwel complete airshow van opstijgen tot landen. Luister ook naar het prachtige goed verstaanbare commentaar!

Het vliegtuig is in werkelijkheid een geweldige machine. Ik heb er in gezeten ergens in Liverpool in de jaren 80. De ruimte is werkelijk zo klein dat je je afvraagd of het logisch is om daar met een groep in te zitten. Maar het is fantaschtisch

Seen this with my own eyes in Volkel.
Powerful sound when the plane does his take-off roll almost dinosaurus like sound.
At least as i can discribe it what it sounded like. :)

Thanx all of you! Filmed with my Canon Powershot S3-IS photocamera (6 MP, 12x zoom). Sometimes hard to keep the moving object in sight, and the disturbing wind noise was much less then I was afraid of.

Niet onmogelijk maar erg onwaarschijnlijk. En wat is 'ze' ? Er bestaat op de hele wereld nog maar 1 die kan vliegen. Als je er meer gezien hebt is het no way een Vulcan!
