    Outstanding instructional video. The sounds produced by just flight are in a league of their own, nothing comes close!

    Awesome add on for MSFS , but brings back bad memories for my wife who saw one crash when she was a child in Malta 1975 😢

    It takes a certain kind of madness to create content like this and a certain kind of madness to consume it! Lolz.

    Is the traffic addon you're using FSLTL or Justflight Traffic? Thanks :) Great video by the way, the community dearly appreciates your devotion to startups on various aircraft!

    • @jonbeckett
      @jonbeckett  Рік тому

      I had no traffic switched on - those were just static aircraft in the air base scenery.

    there is no way to do a proper start up without using the external air supply then? I thought the external air is needed for fast start up but a normal one could be done on internal means.

    • @timdeeley965
      @timdeeley965 Рік тому +1

      The rapid start function on the Vulcan uses bottled air stored in 2 banks above the engine pairs. \\the normal start requires low pressure air from the external palouste

    Sorry for the stupid question, but how do you map your hardware dual throttle to the Vulcan 4 throttles?

    • @jonbeckett
      @jonbeckett  Рік тому

      Set each throttle device to two engines.

      It's a payware version of the air base :) I think I got it from OrbX.

    Is it just me, or are there absolutly no feeling when landing this thing? No sounds really, no shaking worth noticing. It's like - your down! Is this realistic to this aircraft? I does not matter if I go gently or hard on the landing, its the same feeling. Just find that a bit annoying... I hope theres future patches coming up! =) @justflight

      Yes, landed yesterday and hadn't realised lol

    • @rymdskrotet
      @rymdskrotet 4 місяці тому

      @@Rodders30uk Thats quite bad actually. Is JF doing mods and just leave them as they are? Shakings, sounds, movements...everything is very important for that immerse feeling of flying! FSRealistic helped me out here, but should not be needed! =( @justflight

    Sorry Jonathan. Utter rubbish. Your punters would do better to start with engines running ready to taxy. If you want to start from cold properly read the checklist.

    • @jonbeckett
      @jonbeckett  11 місяців тому

      It's a beginners guide - chopping out a lot of the tests, and just performing the functional steps required. Obviously people can then add more and more fidelity to the steps, which will naturally bring them closer to the full checklist.
