  • What quality of disciple are you making? When we go out and lead people to Jesus, are we going for quantity or quality? This is a big deal because we may be having people make a decision they truly aren't fully committed to.

Amen. I have tried to convert a friend of mine in the past but she didn't believe. She even said I was brainwashed from young because I was raised in the Church and then she went on about how it is a white man religion and saying how to control a black person was giving the bible which cause them to forgive what happened in the past, she even talked about why is there suffering and other stuff and I said because Humanity have free will and some people will do bad things because if God didn't give us free will then it wouldn't be loving and we would be like robots with no minds. In conclusion I will in the future go out and try to get people in believing in Jesus they have been another that don't believe the owner of the gym iI go to said when you put God and logic together it doesn't make sense I wished i said to him but without God there is no logic.

Thank you for sharing this! I have preached and answered questions about the Bible to friends I’ve known for years recently. While I don’t see the changes yet or that they’ve given their lives to Christ, I’m hoping they do soon!
I’m not sure I can disciple them should they give their hearts to Christ but your video definitely gave me the idea to check up on them more. I’m hoping at the very least I’ve planted a seed, if not watered.

It's true. Discipleship and consistent godly fellowship, inclusion, bible study . All this is vital for growth.. you said something very key.. there will be a turn around, change, growth.. the visible fruit of the spirit.. if the conversion is truly sincere. Teaching is vital. Small groups are beneficial. I know people who attend church and are still fornicating, smoking weed etc . ... When they've been told and still choose to continue doing these days and more.. I question their claim to Christianity.

Those kinds of people are choosing to live in sin and it is a scary thing to live that way. They probably think they are saved, and they may be, but they need to repent and turn away from the sinful ways.

God didn’t reject you. I’ve never gotten a comment from you that shows that you love God. Every single comment you ever make is angry and bitter towards him. And he still blesses you. This is a good video Marcus, may the lord bless everything your hand is put to. You know, Jesus says to count the cost before you follow him, I think it’s about truly, unapologetically preaching the hard the truths of the gospel, inspight of feelings.
“And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.”
    ‭‭Jude‬ ‭1‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
I like this verse from Jude, it’s all about having discernment I think of how to preach the message to that particular person. Some people need to be cut to the heart. Others need to feel the love and goodness of God.
“Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭2‬:‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Hey Marcus, I just wanna say it’s alright, yeah I know that’s very Random but I feel like your doubting urself, even tho you made this video for us I also feel like you made this for yourself, and man If that’s the case, if your having one those moments where everything is an question and you don’t got answers, know that you helped me, you’ve been crucial in my journey(obv not more than Jesus but it’s alright) In finding Jesus and understanding the responsibility of being in love with Jesus Christ, but if my spelling and grammar is not making this readable then I’ll just put it plainly, you helped me, you showed me Jesus, my life has never Been better, so if your worried, it’s alright, thank you, In Jesus we trust, amen ❤️

I appreciate the words. I’m not doubting myself. I fully believe and know that I’m a true follower of Christ. What I’m talking about is when we walk up to some strangers on the street and after 5 mins of talking to them they give their life to Jesus and I never see them again, do they stick with it. What kind of quality of believer is that. That’s what I’m talking about. For the ones that watch these videos, you guys are usually already saved and trying to go deeper in your walk. I’m in a discipleship with my pastor and am going into my 3rd year doing it. This time around, we will be making 6 disciples that will walk with us for a year. That way we can raise them up to go make them on their own next year

I’m 14 and still live my parents, Please give me advice and please answer these questions on spending time with the Lord, I start my day and feel urged to watch three to four Christian videos depending what’s on the recommend, three Christian shorts (some more through out the day) and 2 pages of the Bible, (this doesn’t apply on Sunday since I go to church, the rest of the day I do some of my things like interests and hobbies, but I feel God wants to me to give them up or take a break from them, and I would like to know how to do this since these are a big part of my life and I’m wondering if I’m even supposed to have interests and hobbies besides God, anyway I end my day with doing the same routine as when I wake up, please tell me how I can fix this, I think I wrote to much but I just have so much questions, please try and answer the ones I put in here, MAY GOD BLESS, PROTECT AND HELP THIS COMMENT SECTION

Without me knowing you personally or what God has spoken to you, I wouldn’t know the true answer but you could be being a legalistic with it but if you truly feel like God wants you to do this and you feel peace after you do it, I’d keep doing it. If you feel as though it is doing too much and that it gets in the way of handling your responsibilities, then it may be ok to cut back on the content consumption. Spending more time with God can never be a bad thing but hobbies are good in moderation as well

The truth is in the Bible, it shows us what kind of people to surround ourselves with, and what kind of people to be. It's been my experience the more I read and pray the more peace I have. The Bible tells us to meditate on the word, pray always, be thankful in everything, trust God with our whole heart, and many more wise teachings. God tell us to do all these things in all circumstances and to believe that He loves us always. Keep seeking, asking, knocking, Understanding that if you believe that God and Jesus are who they say they are -repent/turn from your sin. Keep seeking and ask God to guide you. Deny your will and live by Gods will.
      In 1 thessalonians 5*12-19
It gives us some very specific instructions.
12 Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. 13 Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. 14 And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not treat prophecies with contempt 21 but test them all; hold on to what is good, 22 reject every kind of evil.
Such a good question. God bless you.
