IMO Drake is in the wrong to bring up their issues during an historic night in Raptors history and overshadowing Vince Carters moment…..and I think it’s time they part ways…
To rhyme off of this comment. I agree with you, maybe the wrong time to bring up that conflict. Of course, that was the only time Demar would’ve been in Toronto for Drake to address this. But as the Raptors Guy, I do stand 10 toes down when it comes to my city.
@ and yet Drake didn’t address anything and in the process embarrassed the Raptors team, the city of Toronto and the NBA… There is repping the City and then there’s embarrassing the city…. And Drake did the latter.
@@mtavares15I don’t think it was embarrassing, I just believe it was wrong timing. Nobody had words for Demar when he was dancing on stage at Kendrick Lamar’s show. As much as that beef is between hip-hop artists, Kendrick addressed Toronto’s culture, language, and quoted that our city didn’t deserve Demar. Demar co-signed. It needed to be addressed just maybe not that night. 🤷🏾♂️

He used a fake Toronto accent mocking Drake who uses a fake Toronto accent…. 2)Demar felt that the Raptors disrespected him because he asked Masai if a trade was close or happening. Masai said no and then just hours later he was traded. 3)would you side with a person who calls the wife, of someone who you are close with, a B**** and a H**? 4)Drake did embarrass the Raptors and the city because instead of reminiscing and celebrating VC and everything he has done for the city…. We’re talking about Drake and his fake toughness. If he was going to do something then he should’ve done it… but he didn’t and he was ever going to do anything… why? Because what was he going to do start a fight in ScotiaBank arena? Get thrown out? Banned from attending Raptors games? Jeopardize his business era with the Raptors and the NBA? Because that’s the image the Raptors and the NBA want? He should’ve put it on wax and not during this event. This story is all over US a media and Social Media clowning Drake and the city for allowing this to happen… but yeah Drake didn’t embarrass the city…
