Reviewers never benchmark arcade games apart from cps or Neogeo. Those systems almost any device play them. When it's certain other top systems like psp, Dreamcast, N64 etc don't play well, at least try the hard to emulate arcade games, if there's a shot they run well. Ex: Run n gun 1/2, Peter Pan, Ninja baseball batman, elevator action returns, to name a few. Others are welcome to suggest for benchmarking.
I wish they'd test the arcade Cave shmups like Deathsmiles, or Mushihimesama. I have a few of these handhelds and none of them run those well at all. Pretty much need an Android based device for them or a Steam Deck, but the Android devices have more input lag than these linux devices, and the Steam Deck is rather large.
The RG35XX-H does not have a replaceable battery. (Yes, it can be replaced, but I can't imagine finding such a battery). I am thinking whether to buy RG35XX-H or RG35XX plus. I'm missing the analog sticks on one and the easily replaceable batteries on the other. What now?
I am attempting to find best optimization for PS1 games and N64, RE2 runs like shit on the stock OS (after some tweaking it shows 60fps but the game runs in slow motion despite this.) as does Goldeneye...yet, I can play GTA Vice City Stories mostly between 25-30fps and other far more demanding games.
Late answer but no, they're definetly the worst part of the device. The deadzones are so high that you won't be able to make subtle movements and they're not real 360º, they're 8-direction
Another late answer, I believe they had now been fixed to be precise compared to what they used to be. The fix was made by Gamma, and Cfw like MuOs had the fix implemented for a while now as well.
Have mine coming in the mail. Its killing me wondering if WWF wrestlefest is included. Ive searched everywhere for the answer. Could you let me knownif Wrestlefest is in the MAME section? Thank you so much
Wrestle fest isn't included on it but there are a lot of wrestling games. And the Mame arcade section is sic. Mario is anywhere on it and you have to add N64 yourself.
No FPS so bit hard to gauge how well some things are running. Question... How well is specifically Saturn, N64 and DC running in general? Especially compared to the older 351P (what I'm playing rn) with the 3326 chipset? Big enough change in performance to be worth getting this or better to save up for longer and get a RP4P or Odin 2 instead (obviously a quite massive difference in price but then there's PS2/GC as well)?
I agree. the performance of emulators is almost the same.the price is three times higher! it should run 75% or all PSP games to beat the RG36S in terms of cost and benefit.
I have an r36s and am very impressed with it ($36) but, just ordered an H ($48) and an Arc S ($67) on sale ….thats the trick, get them so cheap they’re ALWAYS worth it🫠

Hey I want to know your thoughts about the placement of battery for this model. Does it affect the performance or battery life?
So no GameCube games?
Thanks! The Dreamcast seems to run better than on my r36s…just ordered the H🔥

Sorry i m french. 😁. I ve got the same system but PSP is difficult for god of war....must i configure something?
Would a sd card from a regular rg35xx work in it
Can I play ROMs for Nintendo games & watch with it ?
games works better on rg35xx h than r36s ?
Definitely. RG35XX's (plus or H) hardware is more powerful.
Nostalgia
Do you remap the controls for games where you ordinarily need both joysticks ie first person shooters?
The RG35XX-H does not have a replaceable battery. (Yes, it can be replaced, but I can't imagine finding such a battery).
I am thinking whether to buy RG35XX-H or RG35XX plus.
I'm missing the analog sticks on one and the easily replaceable batteries on the other.
What now?
The device itself is a pretty cheap one. Realistically, would you replace the battery, if that ever became a problem?

Does the nds games come from the factory?
Witam. Całkiem fajna ta konsola. W jakim programie montujesz swoje filmy video ? :) Pozdrawiam.

Just add your own ROMs to it.

@@EtherealLifeline Hey i'm new to this, i just ordered one of these, where can I get ROMs? The sites off a simple google search seem sketchy.
did u buy rg35xx h for 64gb or 128gb?
I always try to buy without SD-card since it's cheaper and the included ones usually are prone to failure anyway.
Anyone know how to get heart gold or soul silver on it?
rg35xxh or rgb10max3

Mine didn’t come with any Nintendo systems
How’s the battery life?
from all review ive seen it seems it's around 6 hours under use
Will this play mame?
Yes! You need to buy this NOW!!
Very impressive
Is it possible to play Dos games on it ?I wish to try UDS Ignition but its probably impossible on this device :/
Are the Mario games the only ones they didn't put on this?
You can install them
Quick question sorry for it’s been asked already. Are all these games installed when it’s purchased? Thank you
They are mostly, but the SD card it comes with is NOT good, I recommend to move these over to your PC and put them on a new reliable SD card.
@@lolxero4811 thank you
Yes, the SD card it came with is garbage. I replaced it immediately.
You needa computer to download mario games or no.
What OS are u running brah?
This is on stock os
I don’t have Mario games on mine more donkey kong
why DC games works better than PSP games?
Because Dreamcast is easier to emulate than psp
Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection
Esse e com cartao 64 gigas
Can you download Minecraft into the r35xxh ?
Mario Kart Super Circuit
Not better than R36S, I guess.
It's way better, man. It has a more powerful hardware.
