- It's late January and I decided to take advantage of Michigan's extended archery season. Some counties in Southeast Michigan allow hunting right up until January 31st. It's cold but it was worth the effort.

It’s great to see a new upload from ya mate. In sad irony I am doing another cycle of chemo. But today I can live vicariously, through the lens of your camera.🤙
Sorry to hear about the chemo but it's an honour to help cheer you up.
March 21 will mark fifteen years since waking from a chemically induced coma. It’s been a long strange trip, but I am not ready to throw in the towel. I subscribed to your channel back when you camped with Joe Robinet.
You were so fortunate to See & capture all those deer & bucks on film.......way to go ! That doesn't happen sitting on the couch.
You're right, gotta get out there!
I did not realize the Jan. 13-31 late season included bucks, but indeed it did! Thanks for bringing us hunting! I watched this Jan. 31, as we are in the last hour of legal shooting light. I’m not in an extended county, so I was dont on the 12th. Cheers to a successful hunt this fall!
thanks, you too.
As a hunter myself it is very difficult to sneak up on whitetail deer.....good job and excellent content as usual. Very enjoyable
Thanks, appreciate the feedback!
Thanks for filming Scott. 😁👍🏼😁👍🏼
No problem 👍

I just started transitioning in to a saddle set up it's a game changer
👍
Nice.
Love the "still hunting" bit.
👍👍
My attempt at humour 👍
@DrenalinAdventures great attempt
Nice! Glad to see I'm not the only diehard out there still😉
There’s at least a few of us. Lol.
@DrenalinAdventures I'm honestly out here for the solitude and the views. The woods is beautiful this time of year. Seeing deer is a bonus.
Great video!! Very awesome encounter with those deer.
I was surprised to see them too!
It’s not always about getting them , although that is nice , you had a Great encounter with a nice group of 🦌🦌
Indeed.
Nice video!
Thanks!
Awesome great time!
Yes indeed!
Outstanding
Thanks 👍
Cool thanks 👍
Any time!
My Grandfather was a very successful Still Hunter in the Upper Peninsula in the 1930's to 1960's. I don't think you can get close enough with bows and arrows.
I’m certainly not optimistic but it was exciting.
Here is a question? Do you hunt on Michigan with a non resident type of licence?
Honest question here from an American who has never been to Cananda . . . why hunt in southern Michigan when you can hunt up in the crown land of Ontario? Canada seems like an outdoorsman's paradise to me, and far less populated of course. Wouldn't hunting up there be a nicer experience? With better chances of landing a big buck. I watch four channels now of Canadians who hunt/explore/overland up there, and it seems like a spectacular place.
Yes indeed hunting in northern Ontario is amazing. But, Ontario is huge. I’ve driven for 2 days and then caught a plane to go camping and still been in Ontario. Because of where i live I have the best of both places. Plus, there’s no January hunt in Ontario.
I see. I was also really disappointed seeing the Lions loose to Washington last week. I was born just north of Detroit, near Saginaw Michigan. Dad's side of the family is in Michigan. We thought this was the year for the lions. Too many injuries this season. I think that was a major factor. Hey, maybe next year will be their year.

Late doe only. No horns.
I like the trailer. What brand and model is it?
I built it. Lots of videos of the build on my channel
@ I’m going to check it out. Thanks
I know right where you're at man.I got two bucks thisheer right down the road from you
Nice 👌
nice hunting
Thanks!
Cool video, what was that Sony cam you showed in the beginning? Is that what you used to film the adventure? Thanks
Yes. Its a sony RX100
@DrenalinAdventures thank you
@DrenalinAdventures which exact model, I see there are several different rx100's thanks!
@ mine is about 5 years old. Its the Mark 6 model.
Good thing you didnt shoot that buck, because its a doe only season, still a good video
No it is a normal archery hunt. The doe only season was a firearm hunt jan 2nd-12th. The extended urban archery hunt is only in select counties and goes to jan 31st.
warm trailer, hot wife!!!
Lol. I definitely out kicked my coverage.
Why not white camo?
I simply don’t have any.
@DrenalinAdventures after watching your video I understand.
