IU is currently 27 or 28 and started producing her own music at the age of 15, being one of, if not the most popular solo artist in South Korea. In her current album she is experimenting with different types of music. If you watch her performances, I suggest “Blueming”, “hold my hand” or “bbibbi” live, you will see how happy and free she is, like she owns the stage.
