❄️- This Multi Animator Project reflects on the life of Frostfur - who with three other elders decided to stay behind when the clans left on the Great Journey to the mountains. She never received a proper ending in the books, so let’s change that.

Most people forgot how tough it was for her to see her children Brackenfur and Cinderpelt (Bright heart and Thornclaw) leave while she stayed back. She lost her mate (Lionheart) early in a fight, had her four kids get kitnapped, wanted to stay back even though she knew she wouldn’t make it to the new territory.
How her kids got kidnapped?
@@HarmonyOC shadowclan kidnapped them in the very first book. firepaw and graypaw’s became warriors because they brought them back to thunderclan and defeated brokenstar

I always disliked the decision the authors made to make the elders stay behind. It was so upsetting to me, and this perfectly demonstrates why. That frame of Frostfur wandering alone through the destroyed forest, with only tree stumps left behind, is heartbreaking.
It was a very sad decision, but honestly I understand why 😔 They didn’t want to slow down the group since they’re slower/weaker. But still such a heartbreaking scene💔
I have a headcanon where all the elders that were left got taken by the humans and a few years of happiness as kittypets together, just because I thought it was way to dark that they just left them, even for warrior cats.

Honestly, I think that too. And hopefully they'd get to live much longer than they normally would in the wild. If they don't all get adopted by the same person, then they all end up living very close together so they can still meet up and hang out.

Frostfur went through a lot. She lost her mate Lionheart when their kits were young. Said kits got kidnapped. Cinderpelt got hit by a car. Frostfur’s littermate Brindleface got killed by the first Tigerstar and feed to the dog pack. Brightheart was then attacked by said dogs. She then stay behind, with the other elders, in the forest because she knew that she couldn’t make the journey.
The Erins really give Frostfur, Speckletail, Shadepelt, and Loudbelly a bitter ending. To me it’s always felt wrong that they were just left to die. They all deserved so much more than what they were give.
I thing we should got a novella from one of them, telling the story of their last moments.
This is so wonderful. As a kid, Frostfur was one of my very favorite warrior cats, despite being a side character, and I remember being devastated when she decided to stay behind with the other elders. I always thought that it was such a lonely and sad way to go, and this map emphasizes that, which I really appreciate since she is usually looked over. In general I just love entire maps dedicated to overlooked characters like her, but this one is especially impactful to me because of how much I loved Frostfur back about 10 years ago when I was first getting into the series.

This was a pretty important map for me
For starters, it's my first WC map, and I'm very grateful to the hosts for having me despite having little to no examples around
Secondly, frostfur doesn't get enough love as she should and this map does by showing a "behind the scene" I wish we had in the books. It was brave of her and the other Elders to stay behind in a situation like this.
It's a beautiful, beautiful map, both in themes and in designs. Yall did an absolutely stunning job, both the hosts and those who worked on the design, and every single animator. I'm gonna sound cheesy and obvious, but this map wouldn't exist without each of you, so be proud of what you did!

This right here was an emotional rollercoaster, truly stunning overall. The emotion dragged out within this makes me heart swell at how sad the end is for her. She is such a sweet cat. All the art and animations just omg when I tell you my eyes widened with hype and anticipation waiting to see how it ends while also not wanting it to end because it was so freaking good omg!! But it was so stunning and amazing. The smooth animations and tweening were all so well put together by the artist and the parts were so well edited together by the host. I got literal chills when I saw the last few parts seeing how starved and hurt she was as she coughed and died. This was honestly great yall ❤

Easily one of the most underrated MAPs out there. I'm not even apart of this, and as a viewer it's spectacular to watch. The talent in this is unreal, each part is so beautiful. The orange trees clashing with the ground and snow are so damn beautiful as well. The character designs are stunning, and in each and every part they have so much personality and emotion to show. It's so lovely to see everyone's styles, all the parts flow so damn well together!! Let's hope this MAP gets some more recognition, because damn it's one of the most stunning ones I've seen.

This is BEUTIFUL!!! It looks and feels like a MAP you would stumble upon years later- the colours, the lighting, the animation, the tweening, all of it- AND THE POOR BEAN FROSTFUR 🥺🥺🥺 All of the parts flow together so well and the transitions and everyones art styles i cant 🥺😭😭 i friggin love this and i hope everyone is proud of themselves, this is beutifull 🥺🥺🥺

I like to imagine they got found and adopted by a kind human who allowed them to live outside and provided them shelter and food. They didn’t have to fully live as kittypets so they were content, told stories about the clans and the wild to all the other strays and neighborhood kittens

I don't even know anything about this fandom, but as soon as I saw the song I knew I wanted to see it. It's such a good song! And I can only assume that it fits the character really nicely.

A thing that bothers me is that Goldenflower was older that Frostfur and the authors forgot. If they made Frostfur stary behind then GoldenFlower should have stayed too...
To be fair, Goldenflower was revealed to be older YEARS after the second series was published in Bluestar’s Prophecy.
