People need to learn how to be done with someone.. Letting them back in, around, or having contact with you just prolongs the suffering.
I learned a way/scale to deal with people. It starts at 50.. When you meet a new person they receive a score of 50. When they demonstrate qualities you deem as moral/admirable.. They gain points. If they lie, cheat, steal, they loose points. Points lost are harder to reaquire. If anyone drops below 50, its easier to cut them off/out and meet a new person than it is for them to redeem themselves. The goal being to rid yourself of shitty people. You'll either end up surrounded by decent/moral people.... Or alone. I submit that either is better than being surrounded by people that use and abuse you. You just have to follow thru with being DONE.

It's hard not to appreciate how that lieutenant did some legit detective work in this case.
If she was possibly murdered at her home, she would've been dumped not that far from it. If she wasn't found within a walking distance, makes sense someone would've driven her body to another location. An area of the woods that seemed like it was disturbed by a vehicle going through? There ya go. Path definitely had a car drive through, noting pieces having broken off. Path leads to a tree clearly damaged by a car running into it.
    Then there she was.

He had zero excuse for his actions… Prison is his new home…

That's great Police work, searching for Anitra right away, following tracks that eventually found her. I am surprised the friend didn't rat him out the first time-really ridiculous how one could help their friend knowing they killed an innocent person. I won't cover for someone who clearly did something wrong to an innocent person. He could have just reported him on crime stoppers but he didn't so he should also be accountable for covering up the crime. If not for the Police officer who trusted his instincts and did old-fashioned police work, she would not have been found or if she did, it might have taken months.

Poor girl. He’s just so evil and disgusting. Men need to learn how to freaking accept rejection.
