so you said that it helps with space but I would think that it helps everything sound more in tune as well, or am I mistaking ???? I say this because if you have the same reverb on many instruments or many vocals it help bring them to a more common sound rather all kinds of reverb jumping around on different parts throughout the mix..

Pro tools has a channel that you can create called master mix giving the user full control over all tracks to change the volume levels for each track at once with the slider, keeping your mix volumes in tack on each track. How do I find this and create it for a project in Logic 11?
This sounds like track stacks in Logic Pro. Something I’m still getting used to myself. Highlight the channels you want in the Edit window, right-click and choose ‘Create track stacks’. Choose your preference - job done. Hope that helps, and cheers for watching
Hey KC sounds, I am still using sends, busses & auxes, like you, but was just wondering do you ever use summing tracks instead to achieve similar results? And if not any reason why not?
Hey Ria, that’s a good question. I don’t really use them, unless I’ve been sent a session that has them on, maybe I should start using them? I’m so used to the way that I do things that I don’t feel the need to change it, but I’m open to switch up my workflow and not get left behind. What’s your reason for doing it the same way as me?
Hey KC, really appreciate your response. My reason for doing things same way as you, is because I am old school😂. Guess I haven’t fully utilised or embraced some of the advancements in Logic Pro, as I was using it before track stacks were around (Emagic days😄). But am now thinking it’s time to try using them)and was curious as to why you hadn’t made the leap either😄. If you do decide to try them, then would welcome a video on that too🙏🏾👍🏾
Dunno is this is a silly lol I Trackstack my Low End, Hats, Claps, Percs, Vox, Synths & FX separately. I then have [Bus1 : Drum compression / glue] - [Bus 2 : Drum Reverb] & [Bus 3 : Delay] I send each Trackstack to each Bus so i can adjust the amounts of reverb/delay etc. When I apply a high pass filter on the drums on a break the drums still come through on the reverb channel. What is the best way to fix this? By adding a filter channel then sending them there? or is there a better option. Just seems so long on Logic.
It’s not silly if it works for you. Sounds like signal is still being sent to the Reverb Buss even though it’s been filtered. You could mute the Reverb, or Automate the Reverb Buss. Hope that helps, and thanks for watching

Cause he a engineer and not a teacher 😂
@Kwayjaye Does that mean an engineer can’t teach? 🤔
More of that being an incredible engineer doesn’t make a you capable of teaching the subject

How much is the level if you just add the effect plugin to a channel vs if you set aux channel?
On a channel insert, you can use the Mix knob or, Dry/Wet function to control the level.
If that’s what you meant?
Thx

What auto tune plugin do you use?
Depends on the vocalist. Antares, Melodyne or Logics Pitch Correction.
What do you use?
Why does my music sound so sick if i only added….. Feverb? 😂🎉
Maybe my musics missing Feverb? 😂
