- The hilltop cathedral in Washington filled on Wednesday with recollections of George H.W. Bush as a modest but mighty president, a man whose characteristic humility was belied one final time with all the pageantry of a state funeral.

No matter my personal feelings regarding the Bush Family - I am sincerely sorry for their loss. I cried with former President George W. Bush during his Eulogy also. I saw the child, saying goodbye to his father for the last time. Very Heartfelt and Sad. Family. . . is Family - no matter what the circumstances, or the past lifetime situations. . . . All that matters to the Family . . . is the Family. We can all understand that. God Bless America ! ! !

I will never forget the day I met him, a man whose personality projected respect, he immediately gave you respect and by doing so he demanded respect. In person he didn't look anything like he was seen on tv or the news, he was tall and very impressive. He did not hesitate to stretch his arm in order to shake your hand and by doing so he gave a hand shake that you will never forget. My deepest sympathy to 43, both my Commanders in Chief and to the rest of the family.
Wonderful choice of hymns. I greatly appreciate hearing them. And Lord God, Father of All, bless this family going forward.

They were carrying his father past, and she picked THAT moment to offer him a hymnal for that service. Seems simple to me. BUT then I don't have any conspiracy theories about the death of a weak elderly man that had lost his wife months earlier. I frankly did not think he would live that long.

So, when do the envelopes show up. I am looking for them and the reactions when they open them. It was brought to my attention that there were given to certain people at the funeral of George H.W. Bush. I didn't notice them the first time I watched his service as it was happening at the time. But, something I have watched recently the envelopes were mentioned.
It has already been 5 years without George H. W. Bush as he was a good president to me before his passing. May you continue resting in peace, Mr. Bush 41! 🌹🌹

Then, Simpson...no, it couldn't have been with Geo., Jr. 'cause he looked to his right. Geo, Jr. was sitting to his left. Well, better people than I can figure that out. 1:45:25 Just after Simpson quotes HW's words about "...friendship and loyalty" the guy--the other of the two unresponsive men--the one sitting next to the balded guy, takes a look in President Trump's direction.
Our President really does get the jabs: earlier, the Canadian speaker says something about HW being the strongest of all presidents and I'm wondering how strong does one need to be when (s)he has all those friends and loyalty and a rating of 93%. The poem you had to memorize in high school I think depicts our President..."If you can keep your head when all about you are losing their's and blaming it on you..." Sound familiar? "...and don't look too good, nor talk too wise." Things I've heard often is about his speech. It's just not presidential, they think. About his orange hair.
