Absolutely love your vids man, used to ride a bike before moving somewhere with no where to do it so really enjoy watching these trails you go on and they're so satisfying to watch!
I just don't understand how he has such a good understanding of the trail. Like, how do you tell apart the trail and the forest? Does it come from experience or does he just know the course like the back of his hand??
The skinnies would be a major roll down the hill if you made any mistake but this ride gets radically death-defying @4:10, holy crap! Of course your response "it's not bad" ... it's not good either!!! Amazing! Well done!
Just going to call Dave and Dale, "D&D Wrecking Crew". You all destroying these trails/features and making it look pretty effortless. I think I found my new extreme rider duo to watch. Shred on, Men, Shred on.
Rode Cyprus Mtn for a day in June 2007 forgot the trail names but remember that tree root on the rock chute and the big rock roll off. Brings back good memories. If I remember correctly there was a big gap jump at the bottom (perhaps not part of Wild Cherry) that featured in an old dvd?
All I can think about is that strange yellow helmet Dale is wearing. Looks like something Andy from Toy Story would wear. Does he have the companion space laser rifle to go with it?
Question: When one has to jump or learn how to jump on such a trail, what would be a practicalbe method to learn to overcome fears of height/speed. (no, i dont have a particular fear of speed, nor minor hights (bigger yes) but both togheter is a pantwetter for me - that i intend to overcome). thanks for suggestions...
Idk why this was in my recommendations but holy crap I'd be terrified and y'all are just like "Yeah it wasn't bad" 😂 How do you get your bikes back up to wherever you started from/back to your vehicle?
@@EvanKashvi If you look up maps of these parks, there tend to be a proper, drivable road around them that lead up to the top. Obviously you ain't going straight up on a steep mountainside like that. :P
In his go pro evolution fails he shows his fails but it's only a 1 minute video. There's another one where he crashes at the end but I don't remember the video title
Depends on your budget. The One Up carbon bar has been a favourite of mine for the past few seasons. I didn't know how comfortable it really was until I used a Deity aluminum bar on one of my other bikes for a few weeks. I kept getting hand pain and the only major difference was the bar, so I replaced it with another One Up bar and my hand pain was gone. I'm not sure whether it comes down to shape, stiffness or a combination of both, but whatever it is, it's the only bar I'll buy from now on.
Dale for scale is now the official measurement of all bike stunts
It should be considered an SI unit
@@dylanz2333 my riding is 1 milliDave.
great riding as always boys :) also, always happy to hear a little kneepad dig on dale ;)
The Dale Scale is the new international standard.
“Dude that jump you just did was like a 3 on the Dale Scale!!!”
“I was really thankful I had kneepads...DALE.”
Hahaha
🤡
I love the jab at Dale for riding sans knee pads. Good stuff.
Hopefully it won't take a fractured patella to change his mind...
Dangerous Dale
"It's not fine" remains a fantastic feature descriptor.
The Saturday morning edition of "Are you %#&ing insane???". Lol.
This is why they don’t call you “Risk-averse Dave”
That, and it doesn't sound near as good without the alliteration.
Nor Daunted Dave for that matter
Absolutely love your vids man, used to ride a bike before moving somewhere with no where to do it so really enjoy watching these trails you go on and they're so satisfying to watch!
aww damn where did u move to? thats actuallu my worst nightmare… moving somewhere too far from trails
I love how Dave goes down trails that I'd have a tough time walking down!
Dale and Dave, The Biking Duo!
Man that was super fun to watch! Really sick trail! I would never go for it :'D
Cypress really is the jank capital of the Lower Mainland. Great riding guys!
*rides over a hella sketchy 7 foot drop with no room for error*
*stops and turns around*
"yeah it's not bad"
First video I’m watching of yours, gotta say riding is amazing and the filming is great too
Those look STEEP! and you said you're afraid of heights 😂
Like always bro, looking forward to watch your videos. 🤙
I just don't understand how he has such a good understanding of the trail. Like, how do you tell apart the trail and the forest? Does it come from experience or does he just know the course like the back of his hand??
The level of skill is just insane. One of the most impressive mtb videos out there. Very, very underated IMHO! Deserves millions of views.
Your balance and bike control amazes me
I like your stuff man. Good editing, minimal trail commentary, no huffing and puffing like Phil. Primo ish.

These are great videos Mr Dangerous. Q: How many sets of brake pads do you go through per week?
dangerous Dave is one dangerous guy
Dave’s bike sound awesome
S.I Unit Dale lol
Coming soon to a metric system near you.
Not after six beers and a new life insurance policy! 😂
You are proving your name here!
12-15 ft drop "it's not bad!"

Wanna go down a trail that’s barely identifiable as a trail? Dave: “YES”
Wild Cherry is an Orange double-black on TrailForks. I’ve never seen an Orange DB before, says a bit about how hard that it 😬
great riding as always
Your videos wouldn't be the same without sketchy improvised log rolls
Nice one keep up the awesome footage 👌👌👌
Serious skill meets balls of steel 👊🏻👌🏻
when the hell did u get 83k subs man ur growing so fast. keep it up!
How in the world do you get the handles through those tight trees? Just about every other second I think you are going to clip the handles. Amazing.
All I can think about is that strange yellow helmet Dale is wearing. Looks like something Andy from Toy Story would wear. Does he have the companion space laser rifle to go with it?
Oh crap
That was insane
That was fun to watch !
sick 'n scary! ^^
Well done!
Incredible riding! Was that Nick from VanCan in the blue shirt?
Sick spot!
I don't remember the trails being so dry when I used to ride out there
Summertime filming :)
@@ddangerousddave Ah yes...the one month of the year when everything is dry!
Any footage from Slocan Valley..I remember some crazy trails out there back in the day
8:01 so smart to use his foot
Id last about .3 secs on these trails lol
This looks harder than the beyond expert trail
What a wonderful woodchopper you are.
That’s more of an obstacle course than nothing!
“We haven’t gotten to the scary part yet.”
Au contraire, DD.
I don’t know how did guy does these things when I can barely make a turn without yeeting myself off my bike
Nice video
Good stuff 🤘🔥
This man has balls of diamond
I've got ankylosis spondylitis, but I still think I could do this stuff without hurting myself too too bad I really want to at least
I hope y’all be wearing cups! My balls hurt just watching lol
how would one get into this? i mean im not trying to do this stuff, but riding a bike through a forest and getting good sounds awesome
You buy a bike, you buy some gear, find some trails and ride! You'll meet friends along the trail 🙂
Buy a bike rack and bike! I hardtail works fine for entry level! Then Google trails near you and go hit them!
Sweet.

Cypress is the best🤙🏻
Epic video🔥 what Filming setup do you use? It’s so smooth
Damn Dave, I was about to go to bed.
Hey I'm in SF and I hit trails like that too. New here, from Toronto. Are you in Cali?
So this other guy (who isn’t Dale) with the bright blue shirt; is he on a Norco Optic?
Dope
Sick riding! Well done. Very fast on SGS! How tall are you and what size frame and wheels are you running? You’re very nimble.
Super cool!"
Awesome! When was this? I don’t see nearly enough kayaks on the trail for this fall.
I think this was in April. Good thing I have lots of footage on my harddrive to get me through these torrential rains!
This is the type of trail I can’t imagine ever being good enough to ride! And I’m watching this on my gfs iPad so no, I’m not the girl in the pic 😂
Woah...
Looks like 1 viewer found these trails too scary :(
How on earth are you comfortable hopping your front wheel for a slightly better line on the edge of that huge rock roll!?
9 Cat lives arent enough for this ...
Idk why this was in my recommendations but holy crap I'd be terrified and y'all are just like "Yeah it wasn't bad" 😂 How do you get your bikes back up to wherever you started from/back to your vehicle?
From what I've seen, some of these parks have lifts. But most of the time? Good ol' pedaling.
@@Warfoki I guess it just seems like they go super far down that pedaling back up would be impossible but I admit I know nothing about it hahaha
@@EvanKashvi If you look up maps of these parks, there tend to be a proper, drivable road around them that lead up to the top. Obviously you ain't going straight up on a steep mountainside like that. :P

Dale still doesn’t wear knee pads!? 🙈
Do you have any videos where you include your fails/crashes? or less technical trails where it's more about speed, jumps etc.
In his go pro evolution fails he shows his fails but it's only a 1 minute video. There's another one where he crashes at the end but I don't remember the video title
"It's not bad"... I just thought.. WTF.
Hey Dave what bar and stem do you have? I want a new bar and stem, any recommendations or tips?

Awesome, Thank you!
What kind of bike does your friend have?
To be fair, chuck Norris isn't a patch on you. I can't ride for shit, but I wouldn't want to walk down some of that trail!
I like so much your videos but you had ti do something with the colors
Now turn around and ride it back to the top.
Your handlebars seem way too wide for tight trails, time to cut em!
👌👍💥
I wonder how many people realize that the video is being sped up to appear that he’s going faster than he really is 😼
Grab your 1 hour late ticket here 😅🏆🥇
do a flip.
Nope.
and what about the forest? it was as if Russian soldiers were bombing
I like the deep voice Dave
What is your recording setup, it always looks so incredibly smooth
