    I love how this channel just doesn’t show hellmuth winning pots. Every clip is of seiver winning a pot and then it cuts to a new hand where he has 200k less chips than the last one

      Cause Phil hedges his bets, he rarely wins big cause he only bets big on monsters and people know that. So he cleans up a lot of small hands. His book is literally about winning more small bets and min buy ins.

      This is what I find funny about some opinions. When Phil wins, they'll say he's not playing in the super high rollers that's why he wins, or his competition isn't elite enough.
      The bottom line is, in the eyes of some he'll never get the respect he deserves because their mind is made up about him before the first hand is dealt.
      I've never seen him back down from a challenge if the money makes sense.

    This run is getting ridiculous. 9-1 after 10 head to head matches and people still want to blame luck. A lot of times there seems to be no rhyme or reason to Hellmuth's play but whatever his strategy is, it works. It's time to get Polk or Jungleman on that show.

      @@Frank-es6oc I believe in him, I just wanna to see it in numbers per decision. I think he is the only one capable of folding big hands and he is not afraid of getting bluff like the rest. He understand that this is not a cash game, it’s a sit and go and therefor there a payout implications. He is the best talking in the table, something that you must do in a televised head up, I think other players get distracted and give to much information because they not use to talk in every hand

But Phil probably had the same exact scenerio against Scott in the past and just put him on a straight, plus the hero folds is something Phil enjoys and talks about for the next couple years...

      @@niklFIT perhaps he also knew the risk was just not worth the potential bad beat after their conversation and Scott said he had a Jack. He figured I'll just fold and make sure to stay in this thing. I mean in head to head you can win with very low hands you don't have to expect the big boys to always win for you. 2s and 3s can win you the match in h2h. And in fact eventually does for Phill. He just knows he doesn't have to freak out over trips now with the straight practically on the board. Just wait for the right time and he does.
