You could have not asked for a more perfect set to film. Will go down in history as one of the most amazing places to be filmed at.
Amen to that ! Perfect
No it won’t
This place and meryl Streeps house in "Its complicated."
Southfork from the Dallas series was a family home also.
pplppl
As someone whose heart and soul are in Montana, I am so happy it's a ranching family that owns this property. They love and respect this ranch, and the history that comes with it. It is a blessing that they share it!
Never been close to a horse but what i wouldn't give to rub one down and her him sigh.
Should've done it sooner in life at almost 62 think I'll have to ride in the sky!! Thank you for sharing this video!!❤

@@roneaston9813 ?????
They sold it to paramount network
@@ginnygingin2 You would fit right in here then...lol
I'm just glad it's not owned by some washed up actor or hedge fund manager, real ranch owned by real ranchers.
Like that rich intel IBM guy up there. Owns half the Sasphire Ridge seems like
There is no noble virtue in being some scumbag rancher.
@@calvinsylveste8474 why is being a farmer/rancher make you a scumbag?
Who cares?
That’s not a real ranch
Amazing property, amazing home. The owners attitude is great, he's a caretaker first.
Thank you to the current owners of this phenomenal property for sharing it with us. Such a incredible and beautiful place. Thank you!
This show needs to continue
I wish more shows and movies would shoot on location in real locations like this instead of sound stages and sets. Makes it so much more authentic and real.
Costner has a ranch near there and Taylor Sheridan worked on a ranch in NW Wyoming, I think he owns a ranch now in that area as well as his two ranches in Texas, including the legendary four 6666's
Can't wait till season 4! And 5, 6, 7, 8 and so forth hope the show goes on for a few more years!
Unlikely. It becomes too expensive to keep actors on and these streaming services need new shows to bring in new subscribers. It's a vicious cycle.
@@jokerproduction looks like you where wrong lol
@@rebelrooster7723 how
@@jokerproduction Except the fact that it's on regular cable the same day not only streaming.
Looks like it’s sadly getting canceled
My husband grew up in Hamilton/Corvallis, worked hauling hay at Chief Joseph Ranch as a young teen, and attended Trapper Creek Job Corps events at the ranch with his dad, Allen, who was a founding member of the Trapper Creek Job Corps board. Love Yellowstone and love that it is filmed at a place near to our family's hearts.
Best film ever. Costner at his best all other actors surpurb love Beth and rip
its ruined our town especially Darby. cancel Yellowstone. just bringing more and more invasive out of staters here
Thats brilliant and to be able to see it on screen too what a connection
I was just in Montana visiting. We tried so hard to get to Darby. This is the best series I have ever seen. The beauty the different environment and finally not a show that slams every diversity into every episode. Totally real…..it is amazing to share your home with us. Thank you. The filming, the environment….the home…..amazing
it is absolutely true about diversity,! this show it's like the fresh air
What is Montana like? I would love to visit there one day. Have visited quite a few states but not that one. On the list for sure. Love the show & the scenery there is so awesome.
@@jared2178 Huge State so Eastern Montana is VERY different from Western Montana, drier, no mountains, less snow but colder than Western Montana and far less people, almost all the towns of any size and both colleges are in Western Montana. This ranch called the Chief Joseph Ranch is in far Western Montana NOT by Yellowstone. People are salt of the Earth good people, at least the real Montanans not the rich Californians or New Yorkers that have moved there and often treat the natives like hired help.
I don’t know about the rest of you. I’m from London England, and I’ve fallen in love with Montana because of Yellowstone. Definitely on my bucket list to visit!
Same with Beth
If you watch the show you should understand that Montana don't want more tourists ! lmao
check out Alberta Canada, its pretty much the same as Montana, just very very much colder lol
@@blkwolff I'm moving to Montana..
Hopefully they don't get mad that their ancestors took from the Indians
@@mypostyart8989 if you watch 1883 you’d see that the natives gave land to the Duttons, there was plenty of land for everyone, it’s industrialization that destroyed everything
It’s an absolutely stunning home. Makes us all feel at home and part of their amazing history.
What a beautiful home for the cowboy 🤠 can't wait for season 4 come out
I would've NEVER thought! The land and the scenery is so perfect that it looked CGI to me. Incredible work with the lodge too! Love this show.
lol ok
Most of the show is actually filmed in Utah
I had some great years at the Cheif Joseph when I was young 10-13 years old in 1976-79 . It was Shiloh Christian Retreat at that time and there was 1000 acres included as the whole property . I worked there full time in summer months and have some great memories there. My Dad built some of the balconies and steps on the barns and he was a Teacher as well. We rode dirt bikes, hunted deer and I have some great stories about that ranch . We had a cabin which was a mini six plex I don't know if still there on property. I will buy that ranch one day.
I believe it is now around 2500 acres, the bigger a ranch is the more economically viable it is.
I am from Singapore and have fallen in love with the scenery of Montana thru the show. Will visit some day
That house and ranch are absolutely beautiful. The view and everything 😍
This is a beautiful house they are using in this series. We used to own a house that the earliest records went back to 1903, but believe it was older than that. Many of the beams in both the house & barn were hand hewn and had arrows and notches in them. FLY NAVY!!!
Such a beautiful home for sure! Stunning
Thank you for sharing. The owner really understands the land and Montana. My family homesteaded in Montana. I'm a 4th generation. Love Montana and the show.
I knew this place was special, but I had no idea it was THIS SPECIAL! _Tiffany fixtures? Logs from one tree, wrapped in burlap?_ *WOW!*
I seriously doubt that all those beams are from one tree. More likely, each beam is from one tree.
@@StreetTruckinTitan Depends on the tree. Redwoods for instance grow to over three hundred feet in height with a diameter that can exceed twenty feet. That's enough lumber for several houses.
@@Ace1King1 don't think there are any redwoods on Montana. I'm a log home designer, each beam and post comes from an individual tree.
@@mojodojo5533 Nope but Western Montana has plenty of Doug Fir, I believe the third biggest species after Redwood and Sequoia and they get might big.
@@deanfirnatine7814 yep. And I've seen some pretty large diameter doug fir and spruce.
Lodge looks amazing! They need to get the owner a cameo role.
I love to live in this house, so beautiful.
I bet Mr. Libel is gonna say to his children "don't ever sell it. not an inch." after all is said and done.
Great show can’t wait for the new season
Never new Ed Norton liked new western
So tell the Duttons to stop breaking glasses on the walls !!!
That is a place with amazing history
The stewards of the land and ranch are doing an amazing job
Everything is gorgeous
Just gorgeous! 1 day I'll visit Darby in person. Till then, I'll visit through my tv 😍
Make sure to go to the Sawmill Saloon
@@christianarchambault6111 yoo i just ate there lmao
There is really not much to do there and you can't see past the gate. I live in Lolo during the winter, so driving up there didn't take long.
@@kayscarpetta5502 what a treat either way🙌 Don't need to anything to do there, admiration for the view is all I would need!
Such an incredibly beautiful house. She really is a character on the show.
Kevin totally modeled his voice for John "Dutton" after the voice of the first man who was interviewed in this video. Kevin did a good job, it's almost identical!
Perfect cheers from Pennsylvania 👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🎄🎄🎄
That man is a humble soul what a fantastic rare trait
So cool! The real owner of the ranch even sounds like John Dutton when he speaks 😆
This is such an magnificent place!this overwhelms me love this
1:00 Finally hearing someone put wording to my thoughts
i’ve been inside the house. it’s about a mile away from my grandparents house and they have a large property. the gates have cones surrounding the whole thing with signs so no one can break in i have videos and videos of it. it’s actually really cool.
I heard RIP leaves the show. It wont be a show without him !!!! God damn, what a man on the show. He makes it.
Just started watching the series and I’m hooked. Now all I need is a horse and a big hat
Rock on Guys from Southern Kentucky 🇺🇲
Absolutely gorgeous home and the landscape is breathtaking.
MY dad of 94 is from Darby Montana. He loves it.
I need to see more of this beautiful home!
Love this!
Absolutely Amazing
So many humble people
Beautiful home!!😍😍😎😎
Wow Costner really captured Dutton’s growly, mumbly drawl and inflections.
Absolutely magnificent!
Great share
Exquisite 🐎Love it!!!
Such an amazing property! That house is gorgeous and so cozy!
Me súper encantooooo!!!!
Exelente producción!!
Kevin TE Aaaaamooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
Breathtaking!!! I want to move there.
Wow thank you for that
Breathtaking
Makes me want to go build a log home, that's for sure. I love the feeling of warm, cozy, inviting & just God amazing beautiful scenery it has. I've ALWAYS wanted to go to Montana. Me and my hubby was even talking about buying a RV & traveling some, so if we do, Montana is on the list. ❤
Other than Alaska is the most beautiful state although NW Wyoming, North Central Washington and NE Oregon are stunning as well.
hats off to the realism :) Greetings from India
This home is the absolute dream it's so gorgeous wonderful that it's a real place.
I am lucky enough to have a 550 ft 1910 loggers cabin in northern Wisconsin it may be small but it is well loved.
One thing ive learned from my native ancestors is we may feel as though we own the land because society says so.....
but we are merely stewards of the land and thus meant to maintain it and pass it on to another steward who will do the same.
Beautiful!
Beautiful ..
Thanks for sharing this with us !
Hope to see more shows into the future .
Been there...it's amazing.
Why can't this be me living here? Just awesome.
Scott was "Perfect" taking lead on this beautiful song.❤
I love everything about this show. can't wait for 1883!
I would love to visit this ranch….but living in Australia doesn’t make it any closer. Fantastic.
BEAUTIFUL!
I'm watching this series from India and this is so good ...I thought today to search some videos in UA-cam about behind the scenes, even my family owns a small piece of land in Kokan region of India
I grew up in Darby in the 70s and 80s and spent a lot of time on that ranch.
“Just here until we hand it off to the next “
I love this show, can't wait for season 4
Am a fort worth native & love this show! Can't wait to see 1883 I grew up going to the Stockyards/Cowtown my whole life, will be cool to see how they transformed it for the show I got to see a little in person but for the most part they had it on lockdown
..."had it on lockdown?" You must be a mexican. Not surprising in the least.
frankly you have a ranch like the one you own in the morning you get up you go out on the veranda to drink your coffee and watch the sun rise how can you not be happy? it's hard to be in a bad mood with a life like yellowstone really it's a beauty that i love
Love it💯
Never been to the States but my god that area is beautiful. I would probably go there and no where else 🤣
My uncle Mel P once owned that ranch, wow, I can't believe it is actually used in this production.
Hands down the most beautiful American TV series I’ve watched.
❤❤ Amazing, gorgeous.
Best Serie soo far
Stunning, best show on w the awesome storyline, characters, and setting and views perfection 🥰
That place is amazing
Absolutely beautiful
Very interesting to see the nuts and bolts!
Congrats Karla in what you do.
Still have my eye on those two brass lamps we talked about!
Yellowstone is the best.
Nossa que lugar maravilhoso amaria morar num lugar assim tão lindo. ❤❤❤
Wow that’s really nice.
This reminds me of the SouthFork Ranch from the TV show Dallas. Such a significant now iconic piece of real estate in a tv show.
Excelente serie !!!!
Makes me want to move there, brings a lot of inspiration and peace even thru my tv.
Montana is America's soul. It is the holds the memories of who we used to be and who we wish we still were.
Tis quite beautiful.
Also cost a Mountain of money to build.
Kind of makes me a little sick. Glad Someone has that kind of money.
I'm a 70 year old disabled American veteran.
I live in a 10'x15' travel trailer.
Makes on wonder.
Hell of a thing.
God bless America, I guess.
Worship that money.
Well, we now know where Kevin Costner gets his inspiration for John Dutton's voice: The actual ranch owner.
Beautiful home
This is the best series I have watched so far may be I can connect. My family is from farming background and I am still doing it as a partime. In India Land is scare and we do not own 1000 acres . population growth. But I am lucky to have land in this era and my family enjoying it. We have recently started dairy unit on our farm. All buffaloes. Initially started with cows but Freisian cows are hard to maintain and breed here. Thank you for making this series. It was like gushing fresh water stream in a parched land of soul.
That’s a bucket list trip
Amazing….
This is so awesome it's good to see the background.. Beth is so cool her accent is gone... Stunning Tiffany is still a collectors item as well as the clothing! That's the nice thing about film you can rent out your home to them and they upgrade! YELLOWSTONE
Beautiful place
This ranch is so beautiful I just love it wish one day I would have the chance to visit the ranch it's a dream
I would love to go there but its so far away from me 😢
