When I was watching fight with his hands I was thinking why he didnt just uproot a tree and use it as a weapon. I guess that would have made the part where they were surrounded too easy though.
What I did NOT expect was how well Bolton's strategy worked. Like, who knew the guy was smart. Holy shit. The level of dread and anxiety I experienced was off the charts. Also, a fuck yeah for Jon storming towards Ramsay and blocking those arrows like a badass.
You know George achieved his goal of making you worry about the characters when while Jon is punching Ramsey all I could think about was how Ramsay usually has a knife on his back AND his arms were out of frame.
I like how Emilia Clarke plays the new Darth Dany subtly differently from the old Dany. Now that Ramsay and The Masters are dealt with it is interesting to see a darker bloodthirstier side emerge in some of the "good guys", Dany with her plan to essentially genocide the masters, and Sansa smiling to herself after watching Ramsay get eaten alive. The show is running out of villains, so it would make sense if previously "good" characters start to move into a morally grey area.
georgo says he wants as few dark/good characters and many grey characters who are not terrible or great, they can tip to either side of grey but as soon as they slip of to one side they get killed
Andreven this is one of the few episodes where i like danny. why cant we have more of this, petulant wining danny just doesn’t work, emilia doesn’t have the range.
The one part that really annoyed me about this episode. Made him look like a huge idiot, especially after the talk with Sansa just the last night when she made it very clear that Ramsay will use Rickon to get him to do something stupid. Yes, Jon loves his family. But he wouldn't be that irresponsible towards his army, so it felt out of character for him to do so.
Duuuuude, honestly, the way to you construct your videos are just phenomenal. Just to let you know how epic your reviews are, I don't wait for UA-cam videos. I just kinda watch them when they come into my sub list but I know, roughly, when yours come out and I live in SA so I actually looked in my clock app for when it becomes around night time in Australia and set a reminder for when I thought your video was coming out. Just brilliant dude 💯.
RIP Rickon the most useless of Starks but continued the tradition of dying Starks RIP Wun Wun the porcupine giant RIP Ramsey the beautiful sick evil bastard RIP Jon Snow's fucks and Sansa's fucks
Alex Ward I was saying they no longer give a fuck all their fucks died in that battle and we will never see their like again ~And now their fucks have ended
Well they have to get the Stark population back up in numbers and Bran is paralyzed from the waist down Arya's too busy killing people and all the other Starks are dead. Other than the creepy incest scene that would be I think a Kit Harrington and Sophie Turner sex scene would be absolutely hot massive stiffies and moist cunts for everyone
+666melodeath666 Well Aryas going home now so shes gonna kill the cunts who murdered her family. John is possibly not a bastard and a Stark/Targaryen so he would be rightful cunt of Winterfell and of the Iron Throne. Bran is the third eyed cunt so he knows everything and hes chilling with his half dead uncle Benjen Stark. Sansa is possibly pregnant from the top cunt? The Starks are still there but just pretty damn fooking weak.
That's not how inheritance works. Even if the theory is true arya would inherit winterfell before Jon. Jon isn't the child of the last lord which puts him right at the back behind all the stark kids.
Imagine someone with a half-Indian half-Arabic accent say "fair dinkum". That's what you've done to me, OzzyMan. Thanks a lot. Great video as always, mate. You're the top bloke.
Now that Ramsey is dead, GoT needs a new villain to fuck things around while the Night King does his Night King things - it'll deffo be Daenerys, also I'm hyped for Scissor Bowl ;D
well that uncle Greyjoy will be the next villain I reckon and you've also got the Frey's, the faith militant and Sersie... fair few villains to choose from
All the Miguel Sapochnik episodes are absolutely EPIC especially since season 4. They can almost make up for any low points throughout the rest of the season. I'm really glad he's getting the Director job, (along with Dave and Dan and David Nutter,) for a couple of the season 8 episodes. And I've heard they're the, "action," and, "war," episodes. So, that's 👍
Dude, greatest review ever!!!. Spot on play-by-play, short and sweet and with a proper amount of well placed curse words. And of course metal. Awesome.
The horse pinball machine was probably the best battle sequence and special effects I've ever seen in anything. The horses seemed so big and heavy and dangerous and it was awesome to see them crashing into each other, falling over and trampling people and the minute long single shot of Jon fighting and dodging horses was awesom. I thought the rest of the battle was kind of weird, especially the random 20 foot wall of dead bodies that came out of nowhere and the weirdly geometric spearmen and also I didn't much like the Deus Ex Machina from Littlefinger, it seems cheap that he would appear at the exact right time. Still though a solid battle scene all round, it really was at the same level as the Lord of the Rings battles.
everything you say in this episode is on point. You did a brilliant synopsis and critique and you kept the dialogue in your voice and style. you also made everything hilarious.
Battle of the Bastards: Sansa: keeping that whole Littlefinger thing to herself was kind of frustrating - I'd rather have seen her inform John and they used it outwit Ramsay. She literally put her brother's life, in fact two brothers' lives, at risk just by not saying anything. A closer bond forming between the now reunited Stark children would have been much better to see. I did enjoy her killing of Ramsay with the hounds, it felt very just as he finally felt that fear he had dished out to his victims. Also her little smile at the end, I think that was a good touch, not suggestive of anything sadistic but happy at revenge, and I think that makes her human. If she hadn't responded she'd be officially dead inside. If she had stayed and watched she'd have been dead inside but also a bit psycho. Nonetheless I hope that she now uses and manipulates Littlefinger rather than the other way round. John: has reached invincible status. I like that he clearly doesn't fear death in the slightest now he's died once, standing in front of that charge was pretty epic. But they toyed with him possibly dying far too often in the episode - first the arrows, then the charge, then more arrows, then being trampled etc etc. It seemed unnecessary. The writers have left him in the spot of Trinity in the Matrix - killing him again after bringing him back would just alienate too many viewers and would be pointless. The only time I can see him dying now is as part of some great sacrifice at the end of the show - clearly doesn't fear death and would sacrifice himself for his family. Also would have liked him to not play Ramsay's game - to take that satisfaction away. Again, if Sansa had been by his side and not off doing her own thing, she could have stopped him charging out there. Rickon was always going to die in that scenario, and John gets so many people killed by riding out there on his own. The battle: some good moments, good action, would have enjoyed more wunwun murder train at the front of the battlelines, particularly in the cavalry scene. Would have been nice for some wider shots of the battle, because at the times the scale was completely unknown. Danny and the Greyjoys: girl power! Enjoyed this scene a lot, Daenerys and Yara seem like natural allies - perhaps more. I like the idea of Danny being bisexual and the result being two queens in Westeros. Good to also see Danny getting ahead of herself with burning the masters' cities to the ground with Tyrion keeping her in check. Not sure how she's going to control all the raping/pillaging of both the Ironborns and the Dothraki though...Except through fear. So could be interesting developments there in future.
Realistically speaking she cannot keep the Dothraki from raping and pillaging. The Ironborn might be somewhat interested in using their fleets for trade , even that is unlikely if you ask me. But the Dothraki are like the Huns , they don't do anything else. They just raid.
Well it just might be that Sansa send her letter to Littlefinger but didn't get any response and was just waiting at the back lines if he'll come there at all or even on time.
Who knows? Maybe the war against the Night's King will so devastate the human population in Westeros that there'll be plenty of room and motivation for the survivors to let go of their old ways and band together to rebuild.
Let us give a moment of silence to Iwan Rheon outstanding performance as Ramsay Bolton. You are hated but very much loved at the same time. good job sir~
"Now he's getting some runs on the board." There's something so wonderfully Australian about that line that cracks me up every single time that I watch this.
didn't he get stabbed in the face (forehead) like 10 times and also got a piece of his neck bit off? I don't know, if Arya survived a Jon Snow stabbing session, he might just make it out..
Ozzy Man, this is seriously one of the funniest commentating I've heard. I was laughing so hard, definitely for the first half of the clip :) :) :) and the "recovery break", what a classic. Funny AF for sure.
Stop asking why Ghost isn't in the battle with Jon like Greywind with Robb. Ghost isn't in the battle because Jon doesn't want to risk him ending up butchered/desecrated and by leaving Ghost at Castle Black, he can at least bolster what pitiful defenses are there already. Ghost can also recognize friends and foes of Jon and would be useful in quelling any insurrection. Also, remember, the wights and white walkers might attack at any time. As for weaponless Wun Wun, I can only guess that the trees near Winterfell are just too skinny/brittle to be used as a weapon and also, you wouldn't want him to expend energy hauling a huge tree trunk all the way from beyond the Wall.
+ThatAussieBloke- u & everyone else - he was an absolute BOSS in his first scenes with Ramsay; I was hoping they'd incorporate him into the Northern Plot- though D&D basically cut it, so- we lose - but Tormund's killshot was awesome
I'm just pissed Bolton is gone :( That Mofo was the most awesome villain bad guy in the entire series. Absolutely ruthless and it was phenomenal. And now he is gone and the show will be less interesting because of it. The way he died by the dogs was alright, but dammit to lose such a character sucks :(
What happens when Ramsey lets loose a flurry of arrows seeing Rickon trying to outsmart his rotten fate? You can't dodge those. Sansa had an ominous feeling something like that would happen, but didn't make a strong case to Jonno. Jonno, albeit a rather good fighter, was pretty damn lucky to survive it all and he needed all the luck in the world to survive.
There was something else at play there IMO. The arrows were missing him completely, but everything around him was getting fucked. Watch it again and you'll see there was some magic there. Pretty tragic if this turns into a Deus Ex Machina story where Jon survives literally everything (including death). I don't think he'll end up on the Iron Throne tbh, but will eradicate the White Walkers.
Best... Birthday Present... Ever. Top job Ozzy. Personally think Sansa didn't tell Jon because either Littlefinger made her unsure whether to trust Jon, she was uncertain the prick would show up or there is some term to the deal Jon won't like (possibly Littlefinger finally getting to marry a Stark girl) XD
EXACTLY!.....Little Finger was in love with her mother. Mother is dead, so Sansa is the next best thing.....Plus, marrying her gives him a power position and he LOOOOOVES power.
I think she was sure he'd fuck it up. Like if they wait for the army and then the same thing happens, they'd still be toast. The only reason Ramesay had all his men out there on the field was so he could surround and crush the stragglers Sansa really wanted Ramsay dead, and was unwilling to trust Jon with the task (as the episode proved rightfully so) after taking his measure.
I love your reviews, mate. They are as brilliant as they're hilarious. And the accent is top notch! I've already turned on the notifications for your uploads. Keep up the good work! Cheers!
Awesome, best review ever, I yelled when I watched this episode too, my husband and kids were laughing . And I had same reaction to LF appearance - never have I been so happy to see him, loved those Falcon banners flowing.
Literally my fav dialogue from this episode was 'You're doing to die tomorrow Lord Bolton, Sleep well.'
Image if Wun Wun only had his battle mammoth.
imagine whitewalkers with undead giants and undead mammoths
shit just give him a tree trunk and a big ass shield and he'd win the battle all by himself
Ye also thought that! Fock why to fight barehanded. Also good armor would have been nice but that's not wildling style tho
Why didnt wun wun have a tree to wave around or something lol
When I was watching fight with his hands I was thinking why he didnt just uproot a tree and use it as a weapon. I guess that would have made the part where they were surrounded too easy though.
What I did NOT expect was how well Bolton's strategy worked. Like, who knew the guy was smart. Holy shit. The level of dread and anxiety I experienced was off the charts. Also, a fuck yeah for Jon storming towards Ramsay and blocking those arrows like a badass.
Kit Harrington was fuckin amazing. I felt his pain, desperation and anger like no character ever on this show. Give the man his Emmy!
Yeah nah - Johnno was EVERYTHING in this episode
He's from sleepy hollow
BAHAHAHA
I lost it
Me too...still laughin'
Loved your season six episode 8 thoughts your rock
Hey Val! Isn't Ozzy the funneist dick head ever?!!!! See you at your next video!
Neecy yarp :P and see ya then! hopefully up before saturday xD
Clay Springer haha thank you!!
+Because Geek meant to say you rock bc you do, damn autocorrect
You know George achieved his goal of making you worry about the characters when while Jon is punching Ramsey all I could think about was how Ramsay usually has a knife on his back AND his arms were out of frame.
"10/10 stiffy. ABSOLUTELY THROBBING"
XDDDDD
Very satisfying when Jon was dirtying Ramsay 's face with his blood.
Great review by the mate.
i don't like the fact that ramsay died i wish he was tortured but the way he died was quite fucking awesome
I love it! His house fell so quickly. It just went to rubble in seconds.
I could only assume getting eaten alive by vicious dogs would be one of the worst forms of torture
I was like oh yes fck yes *My fist punching my other hand
I wonder why didnt the stupid giant take example a huge tree and swing that around. But nooo
i was thinking it would be smarter for those cunts to GIVE HIM A WEPON WHEN HE GOES TO A WAR ( like a huge fucking sword or something)
Where does one find an 8 foot long sword?
+django the 2nd And have him maybe hit allies?
just rip out a young tree, done.
Has the reply "In my pants" been taken yet? If not I would like to apply for it.

That's the type of joke I would make if I wanted to be intentionally unfunny while looking like a simpleton.
Completely agree. And yea, Emilia did a fantastic job this episode (and season, really), and it just shows you that nobody is 100% good.
Andreven Well, can't win them all, i tried.... have a good one.
Andreven this is one of the few episodes where i like danny. why cant we have more of this, petulant wining danny just doesn’t work, emilia doesn’t have the range.
2:19, I bet not...but he did go to the Prometheus School of Running Away from Things.
Kit Harrington really deserves an award for this and Iwan Rheon..... Amazing actors
Now all we need is the one from Alf Shift X
these shit reviews are warm up untill Alt releases his
his are the best arent they
Fucking legend
Alt is a legend lol. So is Ozzy.
I was referring to Arik D
Bolton family dead, Umber family dead, damn, the North lost a lot
Nah mate give it to the free folk
Im sure there is one more umber member
Yeah, I think the Greatjon is still alive, but they might have done away with him in the show to save money. Hope not, the actor was great.
+tSp289 Rob Stark beheaded Greatjon, there's no Umber's left
+Josh Stevens Robb beheaded Richard Karstark not great jon
Sansa: "How did Ramsy die?"
Jon: "...poisoned by his enemies"
EDIT: Jon: "How did Ramsy die?"
Sansa: "😎.....Doggy style"
Jon: "😱....Too much information..."
Who else was saying "DO IT THE APOCALYPTO WAY!" While he was running.
"Run in a serpentine pattern!"
I instantly thought of that movie in that scene.
me!! i want that useless kid to live but he remain useless till the end.
He went to the "Prometheus School of Running Away From Things".
I am so glad someone made this reference.
jon pulled a leeroy jenkins
The one part that really annoyed me about this episode.

squattystx "guns up let's do this"
FUCK YES OZZY, FUCK YES MATE
Big Fuck Off Ozzy.
I can confirm being in a mosh pit at a limp bizkit concert is EXACTLY like that
I lost it when he said " Jonno gone for a hunt for a pre battle gobbie".
This is the ultimate afterparty to any GoT episode.
love your voice man !! great commentary as always

That was a perfect recapture of the epic battle.. and exactly how I felt when watching it.
It's hard to believe how good this recap is. Amazing stuff man!
I've watched this 8 times, this is your best work yet Ozzy!
I thought you were to say "Rest in pieces Ramsay Bolton"!
Warmed my heart that in the end, Ramsay's hounds still loved him

"He's from sleepy hollow" SO funny.
That moment you popped a can of beer, drank and went "Fuuuck", I laughed out really hard! 😂😂😂 Never change mate!
"He's from Sleepy Hollow" - I BURST OUT LAUGHING - unfortunately, it's ten to twelve at night! I hit the LIKE button before it even started playing!

Well we did just get Euron a few episodes back.
well that uncle Greyjoy will be the next villain I reckon and you've also got the Frey's, the faith militant and Sersie... fair few villains to choose from
euron, freys, cercei, sand sneks, whit walkers, dany from the perspective of westeros
Frey's are going down next episode I'll bet.
I hope to god Arya get some good Frey killing action... One character I actually think might die in the season(s) to come is Jamie
“Now he’s got some runs on the board” pure frickin genius
All the Miguel Sapochnik episodes are absolutely EPIC especially since season 4.

I'd say more like Mongols, but yeah. To Dany I say, good luck with that.
CyaLatte
The mongols actually restored trade routes. And they were an organized army.
Who knows? Maybe the war against the Night's King will so devastate the human population in Westeros that there'll be plenty of room and motivation for the survivors to let go of their old ways and band together to rebuild.
I'm waiting for your reviews as much as for the actual episodes, fookin legend
"Wooaah! He's so hot right now!" my exact reaction for Grey Worm
Brilliant as ever. I look forward to your reviews ALMOST as much as I look forward to the episodes.
Let us give a moment of silence to Iwan Rheon outstanding performance as Ramsay Bolton. You are hated but very much loved at the same time. good job sir~
"Knocks his block off something chronic" is perhaps the greatest line in history.
Would be funny if Kit Harington got a gobby and the person afterwards says ' Ozzy man sends his regards'
Living in Washington State (NW corner of the continental USA), I get up early so I can watch your uploads each Tuesday morning before work. Love it!
One good villain down, let's hope Walda Frey is next.
+Night's King hahah yeah you're right Walder Frey***
+Ryan Garnham lmfao
What the fuck did Walda Frey ever do? She isn't even in the show! Calm down Lady Stoneheart
@Qarnatics ........Troll much? :P
I get the feeling the Frey's are going to be Arya's toys. :3 I bet she kills the entire family next season.
I was more excited for your review than next weeks episode! Keep it up Ozzy Man, much love
Jonno can get a gobby now, he's not in the night's watch anymore.
Fucken give him one already!!!
This is the best one in a while (chronologically) by far, then again you had a lot more to work with in this episode.
Rest in pieces Ramsay.
LOL, the limp bizcuit reference. I'm going to hell for laughing at that.
I guess Ramsay really was a tough cookie. Everyone else would have immediatelly died if he got that look from little Lady Mormont!
Ozzyman you are a legend, I look forward towards your reviews as much as the actual episode. Keep the good work going man love you
Bastard bowl was the best ever battle scene and blew Hollywood out of the fucking water
"Now he's getting some runs on the board." There's something so wonderfully Australian about that line that cracks me up every single time that I watch this.
The real question is what happend to Harald Karstark?
I bet he survived. I don't think he joined in the fighting, so he probably buggered off once he saw the tide turn against the Boltons.
I guess we're supposed to believe he died in the battle.
didn't he get stabbed in the face (forehead) like 10 times and also got a piece of his neck bit off? I don't know, if Arya survived a Jon Snow stabbing session, he might just make it out..
+Ivan “molotovgod” Valencia that one was smalljon umber. who btw dies fughting for Robb in the red wedding in the books
+slice n' dice sweet, thanks
Has to be one of your strongest recaps yet. "He was in sleepy hollow" Bloody classic!
Battle of the bastards is my favorite battle in the series.
2:10-3:03 is hilarious, I can't stop laughing!
"He is from sleepy hollow" fuck that was unexpected
So glad this is based on your personality, mate....just keep being you and you'll/we'll never run out of high quality content!

+Sad Message He's a giant. They're not too smart, but not dumb either
+Sad Message imagine if wun wun wore armour :O
Sorry to piss on your logic mate but all those complaints are only because they didn't have the budget
When your wolf dies you die.
Man, I've been waiting for this video since morning. And its like this every week now. Top bloke!
I wish SmallJon was a good guy, he was such a badass
Same, I was hoping he'd join Jon's side at the last minute.
+ThatAussieBloke- u & everyone else - he was an absolute BOSS in his first scenes with Ramsay; I was hoping they'd incorporate him into the Northern Plot- though D&D basically cut it, so- we lose - but Tormund's killshot was awesome

Ozzy, you're the man! You're reviews crack me the hell up! I don't know what I'll miss more; Game of Thrones or your reviews of them!!
Rickon: walk fucking backwards, so you can see the arrows?
Jon is stuck in some horse pinball machine. I belly laughed at that.

omg your reviews are off the hook the best thing that ever happened on UA-cam keep it coming my Australian critic and have a foster beer on my behalf.
He already married a Stark woman..that didnt end well :P
I think she was sure he'd fuck it up. Like if they wait for the army and then the same thing happens, they'd still be toast. The only reason Ramesay had all his men out there on the field was so he could surround and crush the stragglers
Sansa really wanted Ramsay dead, and was unwilling to trust Jon with the task (as the episode proved rightfully so) after taking his measure.
Fuck I love your music selections. So many not-cold VBs consumed to Grinners. Action, nostaligia, nerdiness, booze, babes! Great episode
BEAR GLARE. :D
ozzy i refreshed my subscription page multiple times since yesterday until this masterpiece shows up. the wait was worth it
3:00 "His from sleepy hollow"
My sides!
"Horse pinball machine" -- I'm dying XD
they could have given Wun Wun a huge log or a big stone hammer, they freakin wasted the giant potential there
You know it's a good episode when even ozzy gets exhausted summarizing it. XD
By far my favorite GoT episode in recent years! big win for the Starks
I love your reviews, mate. They are as brilliant as they're hilarious. And the accent is top notch!
I've already turned on the notifications for your uploads.
Keep up the good work!
Cheers!
best part in the video was recovery break
Idk why he removed so many of the episodes. These are so much fun
Davos says awesome Davos things.
Awesome, best review ever, I yelled when I watched this episode too, my husband and kids were laughing . And I had same reaction to LF appearance - never have I been so happy to see him, loved those Falcon banners flowing.
RIP RAMSAY THE ONLY AND TRU KING OF THE NORTH!
The chaos in this battle scene was absolutely terrifying.
I think that hard "WHAT IS EVEN HAPPENING" energy is pretty realistic to this kind of war.
Why didn't Wun Wun just fuckin tumble around the battlefield? Seriously why not?
"He's from sleepy hollow" I cracked up laughing! Brilliant
1:12 Bear glare
Ozzy Man, you are the king of UA-cam reviews...game, set, match.
