The permanent outdoor work table was one of the most useful additions to my shop. Couldn't live without it. Mine's not nearly as fancy, though, just an old cable spool I absconded years ago. See you got a receptacle close, very handy.

Yep for sure, I love having my outside bench back. Thanks, Merry Christmas.

A handy table became handier. Rail under the leg - good idea - spreads the load.
    Thanks for the Christmas card.

The only thing I would change is the mounting of the Wilton vise so that the jaws were at the same hieght as the post vise. I have a welding table with two vices (one on each end) and there have been many times that I wished I had done that. In fact that project just went on the list. Best of everything Randy.

I considered that, in is about 1 in. lower. I will see what I can find. Thank you Kim, Merry Christmas.

I like it!!..Suggestion, add a swing out drawer on a hinge on a leg to store general tools that you would use, did one on my welder table, very handy

Liking this outdoors bench a lot. Maybe add a BIG foot pad for that table leg that can catch the vise leg. Now you need a cover for those snow days. I recommend a garden tractor cover. I’m always accused of having too many tools. But I think everyone who is serious about fixing, maintaining, building stuff has, like me, drawers and cabinets full of seldom tools. It makes all the difference in the work you can take on or even attempt to take on. “When you need it you need it” absolutely. My own mag drill I have used 4 times. Twice on overhead I beams for 1-1/4” holes and there is simply no other way I could have done the job without it. For what they charge locally to rent one, using the internet you can now easily justify the cost of buying one.

The swiveling post vise is unexpected and very nice. Thanks for sharing that. I have a very similar set-up with fixed post vise on a by far uglier table. The previous owner had the leg secured with a little welded on bracket which I replaced when I re-mounted with a sort of receiver made from a short piece of 1 inch pipe, seems solid enough to pound on a bit. Anyhow, yet another great Randy in the Shop video. Keep 'em coming and Merry Christmas.

Like good shepherd that lost one sheep of 99,,,I will not rest till it's found and back in it's place,,,hehe! A thought, for the protection from the elements, let ole Bear sew you up some water prof cover's?? Be glad to! Happy to see you are not standing in any snow yet (@@)! Bear

Nice outdoor work shop. That blue vice looks like it needs care how it's used. No large power bending of things, no hard bangings. Of course You know how and for what it can be used.
