In the absence of a "Nigel dive", watching his tipsy explanation of the beers more than made up for it 🤣 Scruffy is just adorable - that squishy little face!! I wouldn't get a van dog though... You guys do so many national parks and hikes. Too tricky in Australia. If our dog is still around when we head off in a couple of years, he'll be staying home with the young adult kids... However, I have a plan to put a little sign out offering dog sitting if we are at a place for a few days while hubby is working. That way we can get our doggy fix and someone else can get to places they otherwise might not 🙂
😂 Love this! There is always that one bad influence in a group 😂😂 You guys will have to go to the Stanthorpe Apple and Grape festival to do some grape stomping 🍇
Very interesting. Certainly some beautiful places. Now Sue, you can either handle your alcohol better than Nigel or you didn’t drink as much as it looked like you were drinking. 🤣 Scruffy looks like a lovely dog. If you do decide to get one, see if you can find a rescue who needs a home. Pets are a huge commitment and it’s a bit of ‘luck of the draw’. A lot of dogs these days suffer from some measure of anxiety and don’t like to be left alone. So while there’s up-sides there are definitely down sides too. 🤣😕
Thank you Lynne. I was definitely trying to pace myself! We would definitely consider a rescue dog, either way I think it will be a long time before we make that commitment again. It’s so hard to say goodbye. I still miss my last dog who died in 2017.
@@nigelandsueadventures I definitely understand that. I did recently adopt a 14 yr old scruffy haired foxy who was put in the pound. She’s adapting to MotorHome life fairly well so far. In 2021 I ended up losing both of my elderly dogs. My 18 yr old in April and my 15 1/2 year old just after Christmas. It’s never easy to say goodbye. They are a big commitment that’s for sure. I certainly don’t take it lightly. 🤗💖
I don't remember it always being windy, but when it was .. it was windy!! I know the people who built the "Loch Ness" monster 😂 it was done for a laugh but never got taken down 🤔🥰
You need to be careful. I'm not sure what you meant, but there was a racist comment in there. Drinking, feelingbad the next day, seeingthe guy your drinking with , then a commentabouthim being a black man? Not a good choice. .
thank you for your concern, but there was no racism intended in our comment at all. Our friend has been nicknamed "Blak" for decades, for reasons that have nothing to do with race. We apologise if it came across as a racist comment, but its simply a nickname and term of endearment for a very dear friend.
Nigel's beer talk needs a podcast of its own 🙌
Bahahahaha yes I think you’re right. Probably just as well I stopped filming then!
Just starting watching/following you both. I live in Tanunda, looks like you had a great visit! Safe travels and keep up the great content
Thanks Jim! We loved the Barossa. We post new videos every Sunday at 8am AEST. 😊
Byoudiful Barossa! Thanks. Yeah, a dachsund would make a top van dog.
Thanks David. No puppy this year, but we won’t rule it out for the future.
Cheers 🥂 🍻
Thanks guys! Hope your UK summer is treating you well
@@nigelandsueadventures it’s dreadful Sue. We’re off to France in a couple of weeks, so hopefully fingers crossed, it will be better there. 🤞😁
Oh is it not warm? That’s exciting you’re going to France! We are so looking forward to being back in Europe!

That’s a great idea about the sign!! And yeah we will wait a while before getting a dog 🐶

Yes I saw that on your socials the other day. That would be very cool!

Oh how gorgeous. Yes it’s very hard losing a dog, they are totally like family members.
I use to live near bumbunga and Lochiel 🥰
Is it always windy there? We went back up a couple of weeks later in our way to Coober Pedy and it was even windier!

That’s so funny! We wondered about how it got there. Such a cool spot.
I think you may be the only other Nigel and Sue on the planet 🙂
No way! Is your partners name Sue too? Where do you live?
@@nigelandsueadventures England not many of us Nigels left 🙂
