I will definitely keep this in mind. Make sure to join my FB group and my email newsletter to stay up to date with future live sessions. :) Also, I do have a workbook available that has Heparin problems and with that workbook, video solutions are included and these videos are not on UA-cam. Just letting ya know. ;)

In the last question, why put 1 patient instead of putting minutes. Aren’t we always supposed to end with what we started/needed

"min" was already at the bottom from earlier in the dimensional analysis... I only show a "1" below the 180 lbs. really just to serve as a placeholder, but the 180 lbs techincally represents the "one" patient.

Hi, in the Med Dosage Question Bank I purchased for question #9 when calculating the max on the safe dosage problem I'm just a little confused where you got 52 pounds when It's not written anywhere in the question?

      The question is
      Order: Gentamicin,30mg,bid
      Patients weight:150lbs
      Safe dose range: 1-5mg/kg/day q12h
@@bcraftmath The safe dosage range for this patient is ____ to ____mg/dose (put the minimum in the first blank and the maximum in the second blank, with both values rounded to the nearest tenth). The dosage for the patient _____ (type is or is not) safe. If the dosage is safe, the patient will receive _____mL per dose (rounded to the nearest tenth. If the dosage is not safe, type hold for the mL that the patient is to receive.
