- In this hunt I made the trip up to Nebraska to hunt with Jim again at an old street tear out. He had previously found a hand full of V nickels, Indians, and silver here so I had to see it for myself. It was well worth the trip as we all found some nice items! Thanks for watching -Zach

Awesome job guys. You're my favorite detectorists to watch. If your in Missouri next year I'd be thrilled to tag along with you on a hunt. Im 17 and am relatively new to detecting; I'm sure i'd learn allot more from you guys.
Thanks man! What part of Missouri are you in?

Cool finds. Every once in awhile I'll pull a coin during a bottle dig, but they're usually pretty roached. Glad you were able to get dates off most of them. GL&HH

Great location and finds! Congratulations!
Zack love the video, there sure are some great places to hunt in Nebraska
Thanks man! There sure are. I’ve really enjoyed my time out there
I think this is the 2nd tearout I've seen you do; one months ago that you worked at night.
It's a dream of mine, but tearouts are random and infrequent
Great digs y’all!!!! Never know what you will find at a good tearout like that.
Cool Ryan could join you too. I’ve been watching some of his videos also
Thanks Bob!!
Awesome video Nebraska I love it. Did you guys try the underwater metal detecting it's unbelievable awesome finding we do it all the time you wouldn't believe what we find
Great video
Thanks man!
Always excited to see when you upload!
Thanks! Means a lot to hear that!
Amazing hunt!!
Thanks so much!
@@GreatOutdoorsDetecting Thank you for making amazing content! You guys are such an inspiration!!
I bet there was some kind of penny arcade located there around the turn of the 20th century - if so, that would explain finding all of those Indian Head cents. The Shield nickels were nice to see as well.
Mineral content in that soil sure helped to tarnish all of the copper, though.
Very cool hunt.
GD
Awesome tell me what kind of metal detector do y use? And is it water proof
I don't know why but street tear out are my favorite cus you know pretty much everything is old
Exactly!! It allows you to find older coins that you normally would in your area
❤️❤️❤️
Just clean it off with sand paper!!!
What model Detector are you using these days
What do you do with all the coins you find?
That looks like a good tear out. I have yet to find a shield yet. Hopefully soon. You are tearing them up this year.
Thanks man! Hope we can get together later this month
Great tearout man. Too bad y’all didn’t load up seated, but I’m sure you’ll take Indians every day!
Thanks man!
what was the music that you use in the beginning of the video in the intro
How do you find the sidewalk and street tear outs? Just drive around?
Yeah usually just stumble upon it or a friend tells me
What is Ryan's channel? I can't understand what he said.
His channel is BugEater Metal Detecting
@@GreatOutdoorsDetecting Thanks!
Just wondering, did you have to get permission from the city to dig there?
I have the same question did you ask permission from the people tearing down the area?
In most places you do not need permission. It's like hunting curb strips. City is public unless its posted. I deal with it all the time. Even with curb strips in front of homes, if the homeowners didn't pay to put it there it is fair game. The age age old answer in this hobby, nobody cared until you asked.
Really like when you do tear outs. But could you find some other words to use besides “sweet”, please?
Ever hear of a small stiff bristle brush?...get one!
Check out Terra germania on you tube on how to carefully clean and protect those coins with out harming them at all, he digs Roman coins and cleans with out any damage. His name is Hans. Awesome and professional techniques. You need to see it, it's great and works awesome.
GL & HH
Why were people losing so much money in that one area?
That used to be where the boardwalk was on Main Street where all of the stores were
What's the most valuable coin you found?
Thumbitits strikes the 1800's silvers ! AAArrrGGhhhhh !
Buy a roll of rosies and rub them all before every day of digging.
Maybe you'll be cured... maybe.
Bet there was a boardwalk where you were searching. Also known as nail nests.
Yep. We kept finding chunks of wood mixed in too so it was definitely a boardwalk
Can you put better music in' like country or pop or like remix's
You make me cringe with all the sandy glove wipes & your friends let you ruin their coins, yikes. Nice finds but look into conserving these relics & rubbing with a sandy glove is a big no no.
Lot's? The Bible character?
Good one haha, I need to fix that
@@GreatOutdoorsDetecting grammar nazi to the rescue :)
