Loaded! - Metal Detecting an Early 1900’s Home Finds Tons of Great Depression thru Civil War Stuff!

- It's been so blazing hot this summer that we thought we would change up our metal detecting strategy a bit. Normally we go out from morning until night, trying to make the most of the daylight hours. But to help us from melting away in this heatwave we're going to start in the early evening instead when its a little cooler outside. This is the first house we're detecting on this new shortened schedule and wouldn't you know it, the property is just loaded with targets! From the time we arrived until the time we left we were pulling cool and interesting relics from the ground. So much so that we're going to have to go back because I'm sure we've missed a ton more. So let's jump in to this first day where Dog-Tag Doug, Musketball Matt, Rich VanWinkle, and me all tackle this early 1900's house and find all sorts of amazing period Yardifacts!
Join Doug and I Oct 15th and 16th at Treasure Fest 5 in Murfreesboro Arkansas. Tons of gold, silver, and other prizes just waiting to be found and you can be part of the video while hanging out with us. All the information can be found right here:

Aww, you're so welcome. It was my pleasure! And thanks for the shout out for the detector covers I make. We enjoy your channel so much! Crotal bells, oh yeah!!!! Good hunt, guys!
Doug showing us some high thigh with the pendant at the end of the video! 🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️
Awesome crotal bell Matt. Great ring Jason. Beautiful RR key Rich. Nice pocket watch Matt. Wow that is an amazing piece from the civil war Doug.
I found the same howitzer tootsie toy at my childhood home that belonged to me 40 years earlier. Very cool
Jason, you keep me laughing with your quips 🤣. You and @Dog Tag Doug are hilarious 💖🤗. Rich and Matt found some great pieces of history in this hunt!! Doug finding the silver cheese spreader 🧀 and your dig offs with Rich were all really cool!! Congrats Rich and Matt for both finding bucket lister items 🎉
The boycraft badge looks to be from a Boycraft Schwinn bicycle head badge. It would have been curved to fit on the frame of the bike.
Great hunt, love your channel!
All the best from Ireland!
The cut out on the broach and the symbol on the pocket watch are the same shape I think! Same symbol. If not exactly, definitely similar.
I was thinking the same thing
Kimberly, I think you’re right!
I didn’t realize it at the time but I think you’re right. Now I’m wondering what that symbol might be?!?
That was a killer hunt! Great job fellers…
Love the Grand Army of the Republic badge. My wife found one this week. It's from from 1904 Detroit encampment. Love finding history.
Doug, if that horse doesn’t want you, that’s her loss.
A nice productive site today. Two crowtel bells in one day! Fantastic! Have a great weekend, and see you on the next!
Your videos get better every week. You and Doug could be stand up comic duo on TV. It's always a joy to watch you folks.
Hey Jason awesome Relics everyone found. Love the Cordal Bells the PRR Key the Credit Card Relic Pocket Watch Frames your Broch. Could that of been maybe half a Sash Buckle. But I think Dog Tag Duog found the coolest Relic. The Civil War Medallion. That was cool. Was a date on the back side of the Medallion. Great job to all Take Care
Great hunt, I enjoy your videos, with good friends and good times. I enjoy the informative finds with the relics and such. Keep up the good times, until the next hunt be safe and stay well my friends..
7 points on the Rich-ter scale. Nice find.
Such a vast variety of finds. Never a disappointment of banter or rivalry for best find. Would have loved to see the bells clang.
Awesome finds guys very interesting items
Wow! Some really cool finds today. DTD wins the day again with that great last minute find. Good show guys.
The center symbol on the pocket watch looks just like the cutout symbol on the previous brass brooch 10:07 and 11:52 time spots.
Sorry, but I lost it when he said..."He's got two things in his hole"...💀
I just love, love the horse farm videos! I'm a horse lover and would like you all to find more horse related pieces! I love watching you guys! You, Doug and Rich are my favorites. Doug is so funny most of the time! Keep up the great work!
Some beautiful relics Jason, well done!
I think if Rich were to rub Matts Scrotal Bells then the luck could well change! It could be worth a try. Btw love you guys because you aint "content creators" . Also that Howitzer... wow! I love my collection of lost toys the most!
Great finds and so enjoyable to watch you guys. I think the metal leaf is from the bottom of a wind chime. The turquoise ring is lovely.
I love every hunt you guys do. keep them comming
Great hunt!! Wonderful variety. The railroad key, pocket watch, ring; my favorite the crotal bells!!! Looking forward to meeting you and Dog Tag Doug at Treasure Fest 5. Marci did a great job on those covers!!
So much fun! Love the crotal bell!! And the ornate pieces!
Thanks!
Some great finds for everyone. I love hearing a bell ring after all those years in the ground!!! Happy hunting and be well
Good job guys nice hunt, will catch you on the next one. 🇺🇸
Time to detect in the river! Too hot!🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥶🥶🥶
Go back in the winter when it is cold and wet and you will find even more.
Congrats guys nice finds.
A lot of unusual finds this time! Love it. Love the silver and turquoise ring.
Guys, that device or symbol in center of watch, is the same SHAPE /crest as the other object, that is folded. Great hunt!
Awesome hunt guy's
That is a boycraft bicycle head badge. Just flattened out. Very cool!
Wow guys. Always amaze me with the great spots and finds you get! Rich is smashing it with that Legend! Some very unique finds and great finds. Pedal bells, thimble, pocket watches, cool leaf, amazing ring, sweet medallion! I just got a new permission to the oldest house in a town 15 minutes from me. Land goes back to 1638! About 60 acres! If you guys want to take a trip to Massachusetts you're more than welcome to join!!
Ohh wow! 1638 sounds tempting! I’d love to join you but if we can’t I hope you kill it!
@@QuarterHoarder yes, went for a quick test hunt yesterday and my very first hole was a KG3 half penny! Got a few other relics in a short time!

Usually turquoise rings are made from Mexican silver and not marked.
Great finds , can’t believe the timeline range , thanks for sharing with us .
What awesome finds. And for Doug. Horse's don't like donkey's to get too close. Lol. Love you Doug.
Great job you guys'

Thanks you for your videos and I really enjoyed them.
Peggy sounds really cool. Great video
Those covers are quilty made very nice great logos
Absolutely amazing digs QH crew!!!!
I found half of a Spanish crotal bell in New Mexico. It was made before 1400, because it was cast in two separate halves.
Before Columbus?
Yes, sir
It was probably lost in the 1600s
I found it in an area near an old Spanish fort
You should have carefully checked the dirt for that missing stone in that ring. That was a great find and would be so much better with all the stones.
High quality turquoise, rare today. Found myself wishing to be there with a sifter. Beautiful ring! So many great finds on this dig! Always love the crotal bells & old keys.
Wow congratulations on all the cool finds guys
What a great day of treasure hunting with friends Jason ‼️
I ❤️ the relics and such an awesome variety. I found a railroad Lock last month that Richs’ key might fit. 😀
I sure hope to get to see y’all again when I come back in the fall.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Penn. RR Switch key. For the padlock on a switch! Great find!

Thanks for another great detecting video. You guys always make me laugh. Some really cool finds too thanks for sharing.
Just love all the old relics, Congrats for Matt, 2 bells in one day. Also I have found Just about every US coins, but have not found a old key or lock, Rich is on a roll when it comes to those keys.
Thanks!
The design on the center of Matt’s pocket watch is the same as the punch out on the brooch you found
I will see you in Murfreesboro, Ar. Can't wait!
You're turning into the quarter horse channel, lol. Great video!
Thanks. At least horses are friendly. I tried detecting an ostrich farm once and those were mean suckers!
@@QuarterHoarder then definitely watch out for llamas, they're the worst.
So many cool find 👍👍👍👍saludos amigos desde Chicago
Rich sure adds a good dose of humor to the hunt, and finds some cool stuff too! Hey Doug, it may have taken you a while to find something but what a cool find, it's in great shape and dated too! Written with love from an adoring fan 🙂
Thanks Ms Pete. He’s definitely become a good fit to the group.
Very cool finds! Congrats. GL&HH Matt 👍
Great content, awesome finds, your videos keep me glued to the screen. Really love this hobby and the enthusiasm you all bring to the videos. Thank you. Craig
At 12 mins., I think that's a policeman's pocket watch.
This place had some stuff I had never seen. And even the things I have seen, but not often. Loved the variety of items. Good hunting at a horse farm. I can’t think of a better setting.👍🏻
This was a GREAT HOUSE!! The leaf with the hole looks like a "SAIL" for a wind chime or something like it. The Crotal bells are the best!!! And the thimble
Great Show
He shall be known as "All Balls" Matt lmao
😆good one!
If I’m correct that bell that was found may have been part of a slave collar. It’s a collar that goes around the neck and stuck up above the head so they wouldn’t run away because they would be heard
Olá amigos 👋
Maravilhosa caça ao tesouro!
Lindo lugar e achados muito interessantes!
Mais um inscrito 👍
Yay! You'll be close to me. I hope I can make it in October ❤
@@dogtagdoug6751 gonna try really hard! It's only a couple hours from me. Need to get me a detector first though.
Just watched a Black Smith make a leaf like that in an active 1800 town this last weekend in Cleveland Ohio
Great video!
Military buckle. we had those same buckles for our 'web' belts in the NavyMarine Corps at the 20:30 mark
Great what I believe is a railroad switch lock key.
It look like the shield on the pocket watch was the same as the shield cutout on the broach you found.
1930s pre-war Schwinn bicycle BOYCRAFT headstamp
Jason you always find cool places to hunt. And Doug, great find on that medal. 😃
Out hunting today, found a hot wheels car. Felt like part of the quarter hoarded crew!
Another awesome video guys. I really like all those relics especially Doug's Grand Army Of The Republic medal way cool.
My opinion is you can show every horse you visit; I spent years being a horseshow Dad and husband. I really love what you all dug in this video, wish I had been there.
Penn rail road and two pocket watches. Train conductor.
I found my 1st silver this week. (It was at Wawa, and the casher pointed it out to me.) Still, I kept it and put it some were safe. Nice bell Matt.
Congratulations. And you didn’t have to sweat your tail off looking for it. That’s always a win!
I found the same style suspender clip last week here in NC that Rich found in this episode! PATJAN1204
That's awesome! Love the videos!
Awesome video and hunt ! Congratulation for all ya`ll finds ! Good luck and best wishes on ya`ll next hunt ! I don`t live very far from Murfreesboro Arkansas ! I live in Hope Arkansas but i can`t afford to go. It cost alot of money for me . I wish i could come see you and Doug, but it is what it is, no getting around it.
One look says railroad key! Worth $30 or more a piece! Love it!
It’s 91 degrees in Minnesota now. It’s great to see you guys.
Excellent relic hunt great stuff awesome video five stars my friends thank you for sharing
Good luck dirt fishing!! Love your show!!
Kept laughing at how many times you were corrected. Should have put a counter in the video. lol
Doug is definitely not a horse whisperer hahaha
