I always enjoy watching your videos. I feel like I always learn something . Hopefully Abby will get the opportunity to come and visit late next year. It’s on my bucket list.
I Love Namibia, the Kalahari and the Karoo. I have never been to Botswana, one of my great dreams. However, as a widow and Pensioner, I do not think this dream will ever be realised. With the COVID Pandemic I have lost my income as well. I am also in Tourism and have 2 Self-catering cabins, that was and is my only income. So I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, for sharing this video. At least I can imagine I am there while doing a virtual tour with you. Enjoy every second and know how Blessed you guys are to be able to do this. Stay safe and keep them coming!
Amazing video guys. We are so thankful for being with you for a week. Just arrived back to California and remembering the good times we had; What a classy operation; Guts was our awesome host and impressed us with the detail of thinking that goes into photography and everything else; It’s not just pressing a button. Thank you, Guts. Everyone was just awesome on the Voyager as well at the Pangolin Hotel. We got to meet Sabine and Janine. THANK YOU FOR THIS GREAT EXPERIENCE. Kate and Ray Lander
I just cant wait till we can again be on the river with you guys. We were booked for this year and are devastated it all fell apart. As soon as we get word we will be there. Phenyo our great mate, made our stay very special.
What a rare moment: 4 of the Planets' most experienced Professional Photographic Hosts on a one of a kind photographic platform, guided by Pangolin Chobe Hotels' "King of the hospitality hosts"!! Pangolin Photo Safaris - simply light years ahead.
What a delight to again view some of the activity happening on the Chobe River. Phenyo, the young Captain was just in training last Nov. 2019 and we had some interesting conversations about camera equipment. I was using professional Nikon gear which he seemed to be impressed with, as well he spoke of one day maybe being able to acquire his own personal professional gear. With the photo experiences available it would be a shame if he didn't progress to become a world renown wildlife photographer. It was a pleasure watching this video and to see that young man's smile again. Just as I remember him during our short visit on the Chobe River photographing together.
We SO hope we can come to Pangolin again in 2021. We had such a fabulous trip with Charl - can't wait to return. Chobe and the Okavango Delta are both incredible and Pangolin is the very best!
Oh the life of perfect light and peace. Let’s hope 2021 will be a much better year you you guys . I would love to join you right about now as that sun sets over the river. Wonderful blog thanks 🙏🏻
Thanks for the video. Lovely to see the river again and be transported back there. You have a special place. Looking forward to joining you again soon.
I really enjoy your videos. They are very well done and your photography guides are outstanding. I hope you can get back to conducting photo tours soon.
Amazing cant wait for travelling times again. Was in Tanzania and Kenya last year following the Wildebeest migration which was the most amazing experience of my life. Chobe was next so just cant wait for when we can start travelling safely again. Your tutorials on photography are awesome I have learned so much, thank you
First I want to say thank you all for all the photography instructions, I have learned a ton! I’m watching all the videos for the second time. I hope to see you on the Chobi in 2022 or 2023. It looks fantastic! Keep the videos coming. :)
Hmm.... well, please wait for me, getting there to be with you all is a dream with a plan behind it! Hope to meet each one of you! What a nice video and happy that your back out on the river! Stay healthy and eat spirulina ! )))
Love the Chobe River, so sad our trip to visit you in August this year is postponed till August next year - only bonus is that I have extended our stay with you. Always learn so much from your videos Thank you.
Great to see you back out on the river, with the amazing wildlife on the Chobe. I actually had tears in my eyes watching this. I am sad we had to postpone our trip, but at the same time so happy to see you out there, and I'm learning more about photography each week. Thank you for sharing and keeping the dream in my heart. We'll be re-arranging our trip as soon as it's safe to do so.
OMG you have brought tears to my eyes. I didn't realize how much I miss the Chobe and Africa until seeing this video. I should be packing for departure but alas.... not meant to be. And, as Buddy said, I too am jealous that you have that glorious river to yourselves! Enjoy the tranquility and will be there soonest
Thank you for sharing - I got quite emotional watching, one of my favourite places the Chobe River - so fortunate to have experienced Pangolin last year and just love it! Enjoy those quiet moments while you can - we are so looking forward to coming back!
Hey guys. Fantastic and educational. Really appreciate your videos. Just a query what cameras and lens are you using ? Best wishes from Ireland. Some day a dream to get to South Africa. Stay safe. John
WOW! Absolutely stunning. Chobe has been added (close to the top) of locations I want to visit. Hope to make a booking with you as soon as global conditions permit.
I found you guys by chance. I've always wanted to go to Africa and have looked at other photo safaris before. Yours actually look worth the price. It's become a goal of mine and feel much more attainable now that I've found something specific. Maybe in 2 years I will have saved up enough to go. Hoping you guys will keep having your Best of Chobe budget safari option available.
Hi Gabriella. Glad you found us. Of course we will have budget options available always. Most of our clients don't want 5 star luxury but rather more time in the bush to get more shots for the same price.
You guys should have used a 24-70 or 70-200 for large mammals, particularly to include the environment. That elephant scene would have been a perfect example. Although you'll surely get more chances...
@@vsmcl3979 that would be cool. Actually, until last year, I made several photo trips to Florida each winter (Feb - April) to shoot birds. I'd like to start that back up so we may run into each other in more than one place.
Well done all at Pangolin, l have done two safaris, but would love to do one with the emphasis and backup you provide. Look forward to talking to you in the future. Thank you.

This is a dream, I have to do this, i love take pictures wildlife but, I dont speak english very well and i have not someone to go with me. I don´t have courage for to go alone.
Hi Natalia, we would take such good care of you and have a lot of single travellers ... as we have all our meals together in a communal fashion you will never feel alone. Cheers Janine
2008, at the lodge in the park. Both land cruiser and boat trips. My wife is not an animal person but was in love with wildlife, especially the elephants that were almost close enough to touch. Would love to return. I have recommended Chobe to many people. Can’t go wrong with Chobe. Also went to Etali in SA. Luckily, other places too!
