Phone bank app needs to have an option to enable or disable the tap and pay feature for customers preference and security, in the past there has been high cases of scam and fraud with tap and pay in the west. This feature can be easily exploited by scammers through portable carry around POS machine as the money can be deducted just by bringing the pos machine next to your purse while your unaware.
No need to worries there is limit of doing contact less transaction, you can only use 5000 per day with one card

A good solution to this would be getting yourself a wallet that blocks RF signals.

It's a common and easy way for quick payment across globe. Limitation at just Rs.5K is too small amount here in Nepal, that may be the reason for not becoming so popular.
