Dion & The Belmonts were another great group from the late 50's-60's. They had some hits including "I Wonder Why", "No One Knows", "A Teenager In Love" & "Where Or When". Dion later went solo & had some big hits such as "Ruby Baby", "Lonely Teenager", "Donna The Prima Donna", "Drip Drop", "Lovers Who Wander", "Little Diane", "Abraham, Martin & John" etc.
I knew and loved his early solo stuff and his hits with the Belmonts forever but somehow it never registered how great his voice is until I listened to his cover of "Heart of Saturday Night" by Tom Waits. After the lightbulb went on it was "how could I have not noticed?" Also highly recommend his song about battling his addictions, "Your Own Backyard," recorded around the time of "Abraham, Martin, and John."

What happens when the Wanderer meets Runaround Sue? Dion becomes a music icon that we're still interested in sixty three years later.
Also love the Movie “Wanderers”.
Stan, I love to watch you enjoy good music.
Thank you
A much different version of Dion sang "Abraham Martin and John" in 1968. Definitely needs a reaction.
Check out the best doo wop song, Dion's 'I wonder why'.
Nice reaction.

My wife said to me, “what starts with F and ends with K?” I replied, “no it doesn’t “.
