To add the final roof pieces, you need to place the same supports you have upstairs right underneath in the first floor also. Once you do that, you should be good to go!
Thank you! I am going to get in there this week and try to finally fix my roof! I feel silly for not realizing what I needed to do. I also finally figured out the color coding of the piece when you're placing it. 😅
This game seems more fun to look at than to play tbh. I think that's saying more about the game play than the watching portion. Technical issues completely to one side - I think they really need to go more into combat and progression game mechanics if they want to attract any real size of audience to this game. Every time I see these builds or build videos, my first thought is, "oh that looks cool maybe I'd like to build something" but then I think a little bit beyond the surface level and I'm like "ehhh I really don't want to invest the time and effort into this game just to build something and then just be done.. What do I do after it's built? Where's the meat of the game?" I'd say it's kind of like an interactive art gallery garnished with a tiny bit of mmo.
I have to admit that I agree a bit. I don't know that I have the skills or time to build some of the really awesome stuff, but I'm happy to spend the time to run around and see it. That can only sustain the game for so long, though. Once someone builds something cool and other people come see it, what's next? Since they are still in an alpha state, I'm hoping they take the time to flesh out the combat, crafting, trading, and exploration more. I feel like this will have a dedicated base (even if on the relatively smaller side) for a long time if they can add enough content to supplement the building gameplay.
You’re being so negative and it’s obnoxious. This is an early access incomplete game. It’s in open alpha. Not everyone is looking for what you are looking for and no one is going to make a game just for you. It’s so exhausting enjoying games because of all these negative people who can never ever be pleased. This game in its current state isn’t for you. This video is a showcase, not a deep dive on the state of the game.
I think it's ok if people aren't interested in the game while it's at this stage, or even once it's completed, as long as they aren't trying to put others down who do like it. We all have different tastes and what we're willing to accept from games.
you can't close your roof because your supports that are going to the roof...only go down to the wood floor which is not supplying any support....extend them down to the foundation and then close the roof
Oh gosh, sorry I typoed your name! I'll have to check out your channel, I really am enjoying watching your build come along. I think you all are doing an awesome job on it!
I have all my original videos and properly credited use of them is fine with me. Links to clan discord and my UA-cam and we're good. Hope to catch you in game and maybe collaborate on something or go do bad things to bad people together.
Hold alt and use the scroll wheel to change the speed. Up for faster, down for slower. I find the speed of turning the camera feels like it gets faster than the speed of traversal, but that could just be me.
Yeah, I've been tempted to get characters on other servers to see what people are building elsewhere. I need to explore more on my own server first, though.
There is a clan directory on the Discord server (discord.com/channels/1071081786962088018/1179058017233293374) where you can filter for RP guilds. There are a few that look like they've been active this week.
This game is ass!!!!! All there is to do is build. They have lost almost half the player base in the first month. And its a "social" sandbox with no voice chat. Straight garbage
For some people, the building is enough of a draw while we wait for more content to come. The game is still in an early alpha state with at least a year before release. It isn't surprising that more people haven't stuck around, but I hope that as updates continue to come, that some of that audience will come back to give it a try.
@@nikoofdeathplays There are WAY better games for building than this one. Enshrouded for example. And that one is also in early access. They keep adding content and fixing bugs periodically. Pax Dei is not it, unfortunately. I wasted $40. Oh well.
@@nikoofdeathplays People usually build their base in front and below the starting point. The game even tells you where to start building. But after some time you realize you can build a base anywhere or use the abandoned buildings and fix them. That game is a gem. You will not regret playing it.
looks really beautiful, but the Game is dead - still dead on and since arrival.. have a look at Ashes of Creation (not the same Genre but with content)
I think it suffered from a disconnect of expectations. I don't feel like people had the right idea about the state of the game when they started playing in early access. So many early access games these days are nearly finished and this one is still in an early alpha state. Not everyone wants to play a game at that stage, which is fine, but I think the game took a reputation hit as a result. I'm keeping my eye of Ashes of Creation! I'll definitely be playing the alpha 2 when it's available!

@@corayye4099 It's ok. You can still enjoy the game even if other people don't. I wish I could as well but I'll just continue to wait for something.

@@corayye4099 Early access doesn't mean you get to post whatever crap you have done so far. This game sucks. No one will remember it in a year.
The sprawling craft village has some freebie boxes along the road side as well for those passing by that need a bit of help.
I was wondering if that was the case! That's awesome. I love to see the community helping others out like that!

Thank you! Learning about how to actually build 😅
It's Xanthus lol. Thanks!
Lots of progress vids in my channel.

. I am convinced the stools are done by the devs as I've had them show up UNDER things and unseen. Someone wants us to clean up their stool!

Also the guy that was across from you and vanished was with us. He left the server but let us scrap his place. @nikoofdeathplays
Hi great video
Thank you! I hope you enjoyed getting to see the cool stuff people are building!
@nikoofdeathplays for sure bro and you're welcome bro
come to Dagda/merrie/Down
I'll have to see if I can get a character over there!
How are you flying so fast? My camera crawls slower than a snail.

We are in the same village but a different server - those buildings don't exist on my server.

Any decent roleplay guilds?
