I really loved getting to explore and experience it! You and your crew should be very proud! This was incredible and I can't wait to explore more of it. I can absolutely believe that there are more secrets in there. I got myself lost more than once, so puzzles and interconnected catacombs sound appropriate. 😅 I haven't had good jumping puzzles since Guild Wars 2, so I'm eager to find what you all have made!

It's Taneleer! I saw your name all over the place! I am beyond impressed with your skills at building and your attention to detail. You and your crew did phenomenal work. I loved getting a chance to experience this and to explore it. It's really been the highlight of what I've found in Pax Dei so far. In hindsight, the fact it's a bank is clear, but I was quite confused at the time. 😅

@nikoofdeathplays honestly it was my fault I had the wrong signage at the front desks, so it is completely understandable you were connecting it with the Justice Hall. Your video gave all of us at the Golden Company a good insight into what we have done right and what we needed to make adjustments with. I've already done and fixed anything that was really confusing with my buildings to help other who may stumble into them. The northern half of the island is also ours and is designed to be more for the use of community for all in Danu and for all the regular folk. The Southern half is designed to be the industrial, entertainment, and diplomatic upper class use. I think you will like that half and I'm sure it will be complete why the time you get around to seeing our city again.

Glad to know it was received well. I was honestly very impressed with the signage and it was great that you had it throughout the roads too. I'm eager to get back on and check out the places I didn't see last time.

They've since changed it so it behaves more like the old inventory, but accessible via the kiosk. There are a lot of mixed feelings about it from people.

I be fair, I record at pretty odd hours for US East so I hardly ever see people, but the population is pretty low right now. We'll probably see some spikes whenever there's a bigger content drop, but I don't think we'll see a lot of people running around for a bit.

Oh cool! Yeah, I really loved the school/cathedral. You did a great job with that. It'll be great if they add some cosmetic plant options, I think people will be able to do some really cool stuff with that.

I've been enjoying the game, but it's not for everyone in the current state. There are still some active groups around but it's a fairly small playerbase right now. It's still in an alpha state so there is a lot of content that hasn't been added to the game yet. The devs have said it will be at least a year before final release. All that is to say, if it looks like something you might enjoy, it's probably worth the $40 to support the game right now. If you're on the fence at all, it's probably best to let it keep cooking for a while and check back later.

There is a clan directory on the Discord server (discord.com/channels/1071081786962088018/1179058017233293374) where you can filter for RP guilds. There are a few that look like they've been active this week.

It's a bummer that so many people have left, but the game is still a long way from actual release. There will be some ups and downs in the population. My hope is that enough solid content gets added that more and more people stick around over time.

The clan didn't explode. It's alive and well. They started removing inactive players so they can continue with a core base of people who want to main Pax Dei and not run off to play something else for weeks without showing their face once. Anyone who was kicked would be able to rejoin when they decide to start playing again but wouldn't be given a major role. Atleast that's how it's been explained.

@@crippledconduct The clan leader isn't the one tearing it down. One person threw a hissy fit because their inactive friend got removed. Then that one person left the clan started tearing everything down. So now its getting moved.

It was so impressive! Even with a wipe, I hope they feel proud of what they made. I loved getting to see it. Yeah, I was curious about the ruin too. I ran around it but didn't notice any enemies.

Yeah, I think there are multiple reasons for this, but I'm hopeful for its future as the devs keep adding features and functionality. I don't think we'll see the kind of interest we did at the release of Early Access until closer to the game's actual release, though.

They don't have any interactions with objects right now. I'm really hoping that they do add some interactions at some point, but I'm sure that's fairly far down the priority list.

It can be a difficult balance to determine the business model. Some games, like Guild Wars 2 or Black Desert, don't have a monthly fee but go for a cash shop that is very successful. EVE Online still does monthly fees, and even increased the price a while back, and is still going with a decent community. I prefer no monthly fee, especially if it is a game I'm likely to only pick up sometimes.
