I think this game is gonna die and get written off as a loss. They will keep the money and go make some other terrible game and do the same probably under a different studio name and take peoples money then too.
NPS can be killed with a pickaxe or an axe for chopping wood, but there is a problem with choosing a priority target to attack. The pickaxe and axe for chopping wood themselves switch to resource extraction instead of attacking the selected target! I hope this will be fixed!
Nice content. The background music is too loud and 200% pointless (it does not emphasize anything, but makes it difficult to focus on what you were trying to tell).
Yeah @LesterSuggs that’s the catch 22 isn’t it? We can farm gems now, but then if wipe happens for the economy, then the farming meant nothing. On the flip side, if we don’t farm for that reason, and then they announce they not wiping, then you have less to sell. I hold onto the fact that the dev team has said they will do their best not to wipe. One subtle difference on the roadmap mentions “gold” economy. So that makes me curious as well, is “gold economy” the same as introducing “economy” or they the same thing? Could the gold economy be a small portion of the entire economy system? Lots of questions to be answered for sure.
It is a good bet there will be another wipe for the Winter update, with the number of craft-progression items they plan to address. For "Early Access Sandboxers", not big deal; but for those expecting "Release-Like MMO/Gamer" experience, that may be an issue.
I am really stuck on whether to get the New World DLC and jump back into that after 12 months off or get Pax Dei which I have had wish listed longer that Steam had it available for wish listing. I like a good mix of story, crafting, building and fighting. I know that the fighting part of Pax Dei is currently basic but the building in New world is non existent so its sort of one or the other. Can you offer any advice on that?
Welcome to the channel. That’s a common question, I am asked. It really depends on what type of player you are. If you are solely focused ok combat, I would say the game isn’t ready yet. If you enjoy being social, crafting, building, then it is a game that will suck you in and not let go. I have played over 800 hours and not run out of things to do. I am an old school mmo player who doesn’t mind the grind and wants to build a community, thanks for the question, let me know if you have more!
This game is one that will only grow, they are backed well, and the player base will grow once things start rolling out, the bones of the game is very grindy and social, combat is there but not very interesting but what they plan to do for it, it will be worth the time, and by the time EA is done im sure it will be worth the money
I agree, this game has a great experienced dev team from Eve Online primarily, they know how to make a great game, just gotta give it time to flesh out.
I'll be honest. The reviews nearly put me off.. I went ahead and grabbed it and I have put 55 hours into the game in less than 2 weeks and I brought 2 more copy's for my brother and cousin. We are loving this game. That said.. we loved the building in valheim and this is a more 'realistic' version of that
Characters will be wiped at least once-at launch. From time to time, I hear rumors about a character wipe happening during early access as well, but I personally don't believe them, although it can't be completely ruled out.
funny, especially when there will be a full wipe with the introduction of markets. maybe they won't, but makes a lot of sense if they do full wipe, so don't count on this working for you.
@@StinkPotStudios Why wouldn't back to back wipes make sense? It only wouldn't make sense if they promised not to do back to back wipes. They did not sadly, so if development needs a wipe, we're getting another wipe. All EA players know we're getting more wipes, it could be sooner than later. And yes it hurts kinda, but taking away a competitive edge and letting everybody start fresh with the introduction of ECO isn't the most farfetched idea either.
@@StinkPotStudios No there wasn't indeed! But nobodies having a succesful business anything also (at least in my area). Also with gems and such dropping so often i dont see you having any succes with them on a market stall as well?
Yeah we have had a discussion on my Twitch streams about it. Main problems are 1) Too many sellers not enough buyers 2) Players haven’t farmed a good amount of gold yet. 3) low pop servers make it difficult to spark an economy. 4) Players might be hoarding gold for the “grace” update in January. Despite all that, my market sales aren’t stellar but I am selling a few things.
Still find the combat REALLY lackluster .... without solid combat the population will stay low , combat should be their #1 priority . Building is awesome the environment is great but it's dull with crap combat
you all should focus on quitting this game asap and ask refound its not alpha or beta so why are they wipeing things ? are they stupids? its payed early access wtf are they doing?
There hasn’t been a situation yet where everything was wiped. Even when the developers removed servers, they preserved both the characters and all their belongings

I've been throwing gems away while mining.
I hope they do a full wipe before economy and market stalls. It would only make sense.
