"I close my eyes, only for a moment and the moment's gone ... "
What a major classic, originally released in 1977!
Yes it is!!! :)
Excellent tutorial. Thank you for sharing.
Very good lesson. Your voice is amazing girl!
This is wonderful. A recording with both instruments would be stunning. The High G would lend a wonderful ethereal tone to the more grounded Low G.
I'm 50 and just starting out learn Ukulele and Violin!, Great video found the way you break this down too be very good to follow.
A super lesson, Gracie. I felt the lack of a chord chart or box at first but I eventually managed to follow your fingers. The spoken chords with lyrics were easier. A big thank you.
Wow! Can't wait to try this out, thank you so much Gracie x
Hope you enjoy it Gary! :)
Wonderful lesson, really enjoyed it, thank you.
So happy to hear it!
Nice arrangement overall. I prefer the low G myself and have that set up on my own uke. You do a good job at explaining each step of the process. One of my students is an 11 yr old girl who is learning ukulele. I will tell her about your channel.
Sounds so angelic, but it would, being played by an angel 👼👼👼 beautiful Gracie x
Aw thanks so much! :)
Bonjour Gracie, je viens de m’abonner à tes vidéos, tu parles bien français! Merci pour Dust in thé Windrunner 😉Très bien expliqué et facile à comprendre et par la suite à jouer.
Aug 2,2023. I play this on guitar and use harmonica instead of the violin solo. This is a sweet version for the ukelele that I hope to learn. Thanks, Grace
This sounds great on both ukuleles but there’s something about the low g that makes the song resonate more with me. I’ll have to give this a try! 🥰🥰
Yes it does sound quite nice with the Low G :) - Glad you want to try it! I hope you enjoy playing it! :)
You have an amazing gift of music. Thank you for sharing your passion, especially uplifting during these dark days in the worlds history. Fabulous sound and presentation, well done. 👏👏👏💐💐
Thank you Derek!! You are so very kind
Great song! I love your version
Thank you so much! :)
Thanks for this it is very helpful. I just changed the strings of my 1st uke, to switch it as a low G becauseit sounds better for me.
Yet I must practice every days 2 week long and then I will be able to play it and sing it fluently 😊
Rock on!
I love your hair!
Very good method
Absolutely loved this tutorial. Thank you! How about "Love Song" by Lesley Duncan...Pretty Please 🙏
Gracie, it seems like the right hand pauses a bit after plucking the G and A strings when you begin a measure. I'm not a musician, but I'd say that it sounds like you're skipping the first "and" if you're playing 1-and-2-and-3-and-4-and. Is that correct? That would explain why there are only seven plucks in an 8-bar measure (I think). Thanks for taking the time to answer, and thanks very much for sharing--you're a great teacher with an amazing voice.
Nice job!!!!!!!)))😊😊😊🎸
Thanks!!
Love it
:) thank you!
Very nice 11:57
I created a very simple piano arrangement of this in G instead of C, because my buddy who played rhythm guitar along with me at the time said it was a much easier song to play in G. On the ukulele, though, it doesn't seem bad at all in C.
Wowwieee🥰
👍🏾❤
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
❤️❤️
In due consideration of your modesty, I believe Rich Williams would appreciate the rendition you offer...as do I.
Thank you very much, David!! :)
Thar make is that ukulele?
Gracie do you also play guitar?
A little bit, but it’s not my main instrument
@@GracieTerzian okay, i gues if you know how to play a guitar its really the same as ukelele.
@@vladkrus5796 But the different tuning makes it very different chord shapes so you have to re-learn?
@@THEBOYDALEK yes you do different shape or chord pattern. Anyway its easy when you know already to play a guitar. And what ever tuning you can easily identify that note and make adjustments.
@@vladkrus5796 it's not the same at all. Guitars are actually audible.
With only 4 strings, why use the ring finger? All other Travis lessons for Uke let the thumb do both G and C, better for rhythm too.
One of my favorites! If you want an awesome piano arraignment to go with this, try this from vkgoeswild. She has the sheet available too.

Ooo I love it! Thanks for the recommendation. She is awesome.
You tell us about the pdf but fail to mention that only patrons can get it. You need to mention that fact when you tell us about your pdfs. I was very disappointed 😞.
Hi Paula, I'm sorry you were disappointed. At this time, the PDF is only available to Patreon supporters. Maybe in the future I will make it available for free or on a different website, which is why I don't specify the website in my video and just refer to it as a "link". You do not need the PDF to play the arrangement because I tell you everything you need to know in this video. My Patreon supporters make it possible for me to make these videos on UA-cam, and I like to thank them by providing them with bonus materials like this PDF arrangement. I'm an artist trying to make a living, and I put many, many hours into creating my lessons here, so I hope you understand.
There's a reason ukulele isn't taken seriously as an instrument: you can barely even hear it.
They are much quieter than other other instruments, like the guitar. I read somewhere once that ukuleles used to be popular instruments for singers to use when accompanying themselves because they didn't drown out their voice (before vocal amplification became a common thing in live performances). Then once vocalists started singing into microphones, guitars became more popular. Not sure if it's true, but I found it interesting!
