I grew up with one of these sirens literally next to my back yard. They sounded it six days a week at noon, and for fire calls at all hours. It was not fun being woke up by this thing in the middle of the night less than 100 yards from my bedroom window.
If you wanted to make the hi lo sound even more realistic maybe try to account for the time it takes for the dampers to close and open. There's kind of a fade between the two tones that's very short but not instant
Yes, I referenced an actual recording of one when I was making this siren synth. Some wind down far longer than others simply due to heavier rotating mass, i.e. the larger ones usually take longer to stop.
The undertones are there. 5 port undertone for the 10 port chopper and 4 port undertone for the 12 port chopper. I've just EQ'd the undertones in such a way so that all the bass frequencies are gone.
6:39 yo this beat goes hard
Hilo?
@@jovenmendoza726 what?
synth makes the siren sound like a air raid siren lol
The Sirens were originally used to warn people of a Nuclear Attack and Now There Used to Warn People of Tornadoes and Other Disasters
@@michaelskora5577yeah like severe thunderstorm warning

@@michaelskora5577 Why is the second half of your message in title formatting, and also it's they're not there.
Neat. Might return when I start making games for sound effects

One of the towns I used to live in has this exact siren near City Hall.
These are the kinds of sirens I have in my town. They suck; and also sound exactly like this. Great job.
WOW
Not bad! Sounds almost identical to Prestigigator's synth! Can you do the ACA Hurricane MK2 next?
It's on the list!
quite the impressive synth mate!

Can you do thunderbolt 1000B all signals?
2:06 I currently live down the street from a fire station that has one of these. And this is the signal they use
That's very realistic. Could you do a synth of a 6/10 decot or one of the funky B&M sirens
Amazing

Cool
Do they really take that long to wind down? I'm nowhere near a siren so I wouldn't know.

@@SirenArchives thank you for letting me know!
They also get much quieter as they wind down.
0:09 is the best
The Steady sounds like a German Siren just slower or longer
Request:ACA Allertor 125 9/12, 8/12, 10/12 and 8 port synth.
Can you do Thunderbolt 1000/1003? No one has asking I think I’m the first
HiLo is just about accurate, the Hi tone never really gets blocked by the solenoid, only the low one, so it's not quite accurate
how do you do this
2:10 the sound of the siren of gorebox lol
I found 3t22 siren in lily hill Philippines

You're good! And, that's pretty neat-I didn't know those existed. 🌪
No Undertones, no vibrato.
