Now to answer you Kochi airport to Munnar cab cost is roughly INR 3.5k to 4k, depending on the cab type. Also you can book online in advance, there are quite a few rental cabs services that can be booked online.
Kochi to Munnar direct route takes less distance and time both, and for one way the cab charges are around INR 3.5K to 4K, depending on what type of cab you go for. But Kochi to Munnar through Athirapally waterfalls is a longer route and obviously charges are high. Also that is a different route altogether so you may not be able to explore all the beautiful things which come in Kochi to Munnar direct route that I had shown in my video here.
