Zack, you are a very strong and athletic guy, and have made huge progress yadda yadda and I like your content, but you are doing long term damage to your body. Your limb lengths/proportions are not conducive to the positions that Oly lifting requires. You're seriously eating into your longevity doing this.

The first time I saw OW was lashas 484 last year. And it looked so smooth and easy that I hab trouble to understand other lifters struggling with much less weight. It just came to me after many hours of watching weightlifting videos that it is normal to struggle with these amount of weights and he is just some ridiculous specimen that doesn't seem to be bothered with 260 kg over his head. Blows my mind

Excellent video. The difference in your 3rd pull (for those who use that term) is remarkable; it’s night and day. So much prettier now. I like the description you use, however, to describe the continued pull after contact. I am going to try the tempo snatches, as well. Thanks ZT.

I’m confused on what the difference is. I’m only picking up that you practiced your receiving position and where you wanted to catch. But it looked like in both before and after you were using your arms to pull yourself under.

A bit late to the video, but, isn't pushing your head through restricting your shoulder mobility? I was taught to only push your head through when you're trying the stop the bar dropping backwards.
I know the reason the Chinese lifters do it, is because when they were kids they were punished if their feet weren't in the correct position so they kept doing that and it became habit, they didn't actually teach it, nor do they recommend it. This was when the actual Coach Ma came to Melbourne for a seminar.
Not trying to be a smartass, just actually looking for advice.

Piyush Vishwakarma It’s not something you should really think about. Focus on extending fully and dropping under the bar quickly into a stable catch position and you should be fine. My feet don’t come off the floor when I snatch but some people’s do.
