Thanks for the tag, James. Enjoyed that mate. I am SO behind on vids it's actually pathetic haha. I had a lot of what you showed....Jedi Knight II, Barbarian II, World at War & Goldeneye of course. So true what you say about playing GTA with a mate and just going mad having the cops chasing you and nicking bikes and sneaking (or guns blazing, depending on what mood we were in haha) into top secret bases etc .....always brings a smile to the ol' chops thinking of those days. Shadow Man had a remaster last year....I bought it on a Steam sale for something daft like $5, seemed rude not to. Not played it yet but looking forward to it.
Very nice VR buddy always interesting hearing people's personal memories associated with the various games down the years! Manhunt caused quite a stir back then with its over the top brutal pixelated executions with all sorts of weapons.🎮🖖🍀

Although the game takes a bit of perseverence, they haven't updated the mechanics and it feels a bit clunky. But the game is a lot of (sick) fun. Hope you are well mate 👍

Some solid choices there James mate. Cranking out the big guns with OOT , GTA and manhunt. It appears the remake for GTA isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, I’d only buy it if it’s cheap. Manhunt❤️ many an hour spent trying to complete the level as quick as possible with the best kills possible. I distinctly remember a crowbar in the back of the neck and the sound effects were amazing. Some great memories there

Great selection of Games James. Can't go wrong with COD World at War, that and COD 2 are the ones I played the most, I really like those WW2 COD games. Sucks that they took the World at War servers down earlier this year as I was looking forward to a bit of multiplayer!

Nice video James! I always enjoy hearing the memories people have for games, how they connect to a particular time and place. I'm right with you when it comes to being reluctant to revisit certain games, I'd much rather leave the memory as it is than risk seeing a game in a modern light and it not living up to what I remember. I'd love an Amstrad back in the collection but I'd worry that a lot of the games would feel unplayable by todays standards. I reckon Barbarian 1 and 2 are two games that could cut it though, I bet the little lizard fella kicking the severed heads off the screen still holds up. Cheers for the tag mate! But to be fair i enjoyed the second playthrough so it was all worries about nothing. But older games are a bigger dilemma. In terms of bringing an amstrad back into the collection, for selfish youtube viewing purposes I say go for it mate! 😉
I think i picked no mercy in another top 10, i'd certainly agree it's the best wrestling game ever. This one is more to do with a top gaming memory i think. I will be doing an n64 collection vid at some point and i'll go right into my memories with the wrestling games because they are a massive part of it. Hello james mate i have been watching a few of these vr videos and love the stories behind each game. You picked some belters in this lot i love alex kidd and golden eye. Grand theft 3 was my favourite on ps2 and i was useless on manhunt. Was nice to see your chosen games and memories that went with them mate 😊👍

Battlefield 2 then onto CoD for example, although I got into CoD at Modern Warefare. Made me want to buy a few games as well to try out! Great stuff 🍻

Nice to hear your nostalgic choices here James 👍 Never played the OG Ocarina on N64, or GoldenEye. Played the remaster Ocarina on the cube (one with WindWaker) and enjoyed that tho. Got my missus Ocarina on 3DS when it came out and she loved it I did pick up an N64 about 10yrs back, but didn't keep it that long. We got Mario64DS way back and I enjoyed that a lot too. Think many games played well on the N64, my bro loved his and got all the Wrestling games bitd, those graphics would suit handheld more today I reckon like Mario64 did on DS. Take it easy ✌️
