Hey, take the leaves off your brussell sprouts and hopefully they'll get big enough to eat before the snow falls.
You need to take the lower leaves off on your brussel sprouts. Then they will put more energy into making the sprouts. :)
You already know….work is never “done” on a house, especially a log one! I own a log home, and had it corn blasted and restained two years ago. $$$. The difference made it look like a new log home! I painted the poured foundation, too. My logs are red pine from the forest here. The inside could use a refresher, but at 80, I’ll leave it to the next guy! Cleaning them with Murphy’s oil soap is the best I can do. I can’t wait to see what you do with your bathroom! Love from Pennsylvania 💕🌷🐻

We are housewives without a husband! Our houses consume our lives with never ending projects. I love seeing what all you have going on but it reminds me of what I have waiting next. Do what you want but do take the easy way (paint) if you can. I look back over my renovations and I spent way to much time and money. Don't let your home own you. It's amazing what you have accomplished in a few years! Kudos Cookie! It's a real treat to watch your progress!

Hi my Angel, today I had to go to town for supplies the one time of the month I hate. They are doing some very nice work on your place.
Not much going on here, it's been raining, and I stay indoors, and we've had some very close lighting. Here in about six weeks we should have some baby goats, all five female goats are pregnant. Billy has been busy.
My new kitten is still being loud and pushy, and growing big. As for your potatoes, let the tops die completely off, right down to fully dried, then wait two weeks more before you dig them.
I sure enjoy your videos, and I look forward to seeing your next video.

Rather than sand/soda blast there is a new type of blasting where they actually use finely ground dry ice so there is no residue except for the Co2 gas realeased from the dry ice.

Hi Alone, love your channel! Know you like all wood finish, but how about a white ceiling (Ceiling board) for that area, will make it lighter bright & you can intimately see any moisture coming through

Can't wait to see the finished cosey bathroom. Bliss for a bubble bath in Winter, jimjams and slippers. Not to mention a book stack for evening's. 📖Have you ordered this seasons Wood in yet? I joke it's my full time job before, during and after Winter. I get twitchy if I don't think I have enough. 😂
My house in Colorado had same planking and I kept it untreated what little moisture accumulates there allows for the fragrance to keep on giving…..glossy covered wood is for countertops in my book.

Looking Good! Slowly but surely. That's going to be a nice room.
On the ceiling, I would treat it with high gloss clear polyurethane. Reason being it will reflect light and make it brighter. Just my opinion YMMV

Making good progress -- I would want a Sauna Room or Area. I remenber an Article in Mother earth News w/ Gus Gunther and a Tree house. -- He built a separate Small Art Studio and Sauna on the Ground level for himself and his GF. It Looked like a good Idea. I gets Cold up there .... 🐻🌲🌲🌿

Bathtubs are nice but showers are the safe way to go…..I have known people who have slipped and fallen because of tubs and living alone would dictate a shower, showers are also convenient for animal bath time also🐸

remodeled my home. Mostly on my own. Never ending things to do. Started with new windows and doors. then siding. Roof was Ok. Had new Metal roof put on about 8 years ago. so good to go. added insulation new outlets light switches etc.. still working on better flooring. my floors are peel and stick . this winter i get to start redoing those. new bathrooms kitchen and so on .
